The system and method enables the collaborative creation and editing of content on the VoiceSite by allowing one or multiple users (authors) to generate and edit the content of the VoiceSite at the same or different times. In one aspect, a method for operating a system having a plurality of resources through which a user can navigate is provided. The method includes the following steps.
