Abstract: Embodiments of a User Equipment (UE), Next Generation Node-B (gNB) and methods of communication are generally described herein. A channel state information (CSI) report may include a CSI part 1 transmission and may be configurable to include a CSI part 2 transmission. The UE may determine a first number of coded modulation symbols per layer to be used for the CSI part 1 transmission on a physical uplink shared channel (PUSCH) without uplink shared channel (UL-SCH) data. The first number of coded modulation symbols per layer may be determined as: a minimum of a first term and a second term if the CSI report includes the CSI part 2 transmission; and the second term if the CSI report does not include the CSI part 2 transmission.

Abstract: An apparatus may be an apparatus of a User Equipment (UE). The apparatus may comprise processing circuitry configured to: receive a control signal, from a base station, on a physical downlink control channel (PDCCH) including scheduling information for a data signal on a physical downlink shared channel (PDSCH), receive one or more demodulation reference signal (DMRS) symbols, from the base station, based on a number of symbols occupied by the PDSCH, a position of the symbols occupied by the PDSCH, and a position of symbols occupied by the PDCCH, decode the control signal on the PDCCH and the one or more DMRS symbols, and obtain the data signal on the PDSCH based at least in part on the PDCCH and the one or more DMRS symbols.

Abstract: A network device (e.g., a user equipment (UE), or a new radio NB (gNB)) can process or generate a configuration of a physical random access channel (PRACH) over physical resource blocks (PRBs) that are interlaced in an unlicensed band in an NR unlicensed (NR-U) communication. The PRBs in the PRACH can be based on an occupied channel bandwidth (OCB) of the unlicensed band in the NR-U communication. A random access channel transmission in the PRACH can then be generated by interlacing the PRBs defining the PRACH.

Abstract: Techniques are described relating to hybrid automatic repeat request acknowledgement (HARQ-ACK) feedback using a HARQ-ACK aggregation window. A User Equipment (UE) may receive control information (e.g., downlink control information (DCI) or radio resource control (RRC) signaling) from a base station including HARQ-ACK codebook information. The HARQ-ACK codebook information may include information on a size of a HARQ-ACK aggregation window. The UE may decode physical downlink shared channel (PDSCH) transmissions and encode corresponding HARQ-ACK feedback using the HARQ-ACK aggregation window based on the control signaling.
