Abstract: An in-cell touch screen panel, a driving method thereof and a display device. A plurality of sub-pixels are grouped into sub-pixel groups, each of which includes at least two sub-pixels, and cathode layers of different sub-pixel groups are independent of one another. The cathode layers are reused as self-capacitance electrodes, and a driving chip determines a touch position by detecting a change in capacitance of the cathode layer, thereby achieving touch control functionality. The driving chip outputs, in a fourth phase, signals to respective cathode layers and signal terminals of each sub-pixel circuit, each of the signals is a superposition of the signal output in a third phase with a touch scanning signal.

Abstract: A display device and a driving method for the same are disclosed. The display device includes a LCD panel and a backlight module disposed at a light incident side of the LCD panel; a surface of the backlight module facing the LCD panel is provided with a diffraction grating structure. Under 3D display mode, the light emitted by the backlight module is incident onto the LCD panel through the diffraction grating structure and formed into alternately bright and dark stripe patterns which are arranged laterally and extending lengthways, wherein every at least three bright stripe patterns arranged in sequence are considered as a group, and the bright stripe patterns in each group have colors different from each other. The display device not only reduces the entire thickness, but also improves the transmittance and reduces the power consumption, accordingly.

Abstract: A display module capable of achieving a conversion between 2D display and 3D display, comprises a display panel and a light modulating component. The display panel comprises a plurality of pixels, each of which comprises three first sub-pixels arranged in a triangular pattern. All of the first sub-pixels are arranged in a plurality of rows in a first direction and in a plurality of rows in a second direction which is substantially perpendicular to the first direction, and the first sub-pixels in each row are arranged at intervals. The light modulating component comprises a first light modulating unit configured to adjust transmittance of light emitted to the left eye by the respective first sub-pixels of the display panel and a second light modulating unit configured to adjust transmittance of light emitted to the right eye by the respective first sub-pixels of the display panel. A display device and a driving method thereof are further disclosed.

Abstract: A display panel and a display device are disclosed. The display panel includes a first substrate and a second substrate which are disposed oppositely to each other, wherein a first optical film is disposed on a side of the first substrate facing away from the second substrate, a plurality of nanoscale microstructures are formed on the first optical film, and the first optical film is configured to split an incident white light into a plurality of monochromatic lights with different colors. The display panel is capable of reducing the loss of light efficiency of the display device and increasing the light extraction efficiency of the display device.

Abstract: Embodiments of the present application provide a 3D display apparatus and a method for driving the same. The apparatus includes: a backlight assembly forming bright stripes and dark stripes arranged alternately; a liquid crystal display panel displaying a left eye image of a 3D display signal by a first set of pixel units and display a right eye image by a second set of pixel units; a location tracking unit acquiring a location of a viewer; and a control unit adjusting position of the bright and dark stripes and deflection of liquid crystal of the liquid crystal display panel such that a light emitted from the bright stripes is allowed to pass through corresponding first set to be received by left eye and to pass through corresponding second set to be received by right eye respectively. Embodiments are used in manufacturing of a 3D display apparatus.

Abstract: A driving substrate and a driving method thereof and a liquid crystal display device. The driving substrate includes driving electrodes and a control chip. A time period of a frame is divided into at least a first time period, a second time period and a third time period. The control chip configured to: in the first time period, apply a first group of data voltages to respective driving electrodes to control corresponding pixels to be equivalent to liquid crystal lenses having first curvatures; in the second time period, apply a second group of data voltages to the respective driving electrodes to control the corresponding pixels to be equivalent to liquid crystal lenses having second curvatures; and in the third time period, apply a third group of data voltages to the respective driving electrodes to control the corresponding pixels to be equivalent to liquid crystal lenses having third curvatures.
