摘要: Certain aspects of the present disclosure generally relate to wireless communications and, more particularly, to methods and apparatus for rate-matching a stream of bits encoded using polar codes. An exemplary method generally includes determining a target coding rate, RT, for transmitting a group of K information bits, based on a first coding rate, R1, corresponding to a first target block error rate (BLER) for a first transmission of a first redundancy version (RV) of the packet and a second coding rate, R2, corresponding to a second target BLER for a last transmission of a last RV of the packet; determining a circular buffer size, N, of a circular buffer for use in transmitting the first RV and the last RV of the packet; generating encoded information bits from the K information bits using a polar code having a mother code size of N; writing the encoded information bits to the circular buffer; determining a maximum number of retransmissions, based on a latency requirement for the packet; generating different RVs from the encoded information bits in the circular buffer, each RV based on a corresponding target BLER; and transmitting the first RV via a wireless medium.

摘要: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. One method for providing a wake-up signal to user equipments (UEs) that support multiple multicast sessions may include a base station transmitting configuration information to a UE indicating a wake-up signal configuration for one or more multicast sessions. Accordingly, the UE may monitor the one or more multicast sessions for a wake-up signal and receive, prior to an active duration of a multicast session, a wake-up signal from the base station. The wake-up signal may include control signaling indicating to the UE which of a set of multicast sessions the UE is to monitor. The UE may determine which multicast sessions to monitor based on the received control signaling.

摘要: A method for protecting a virtual computer system which may be susceptible to adverse effects from a Denial of Service attack is described. The virtual computer system includes a plurality of VMs. In the method, data that is transferred between the virtual computer system and the computer network is monitored for an indication of a possible Denial of Service attack. If an indication of a possible Denial of Service attack is detected, one or more of the VMs is suspended, to reduce the risk of adverse effects on one or more other VMs.

摘要: Drug screening and target identification using surface plasmon resonance imaging (SPRI) of a target protein array is provided. The Target Protein Array/SPRI system is used as parts of a strategy or method for label-free and real-time identification of a target protein or proteins of any inhibitor, agonist or other ligand. Methods that allow for rapidly classifying the mechanism of action of any inhibitor, agonist or other ligand; and for simultaneous identification and purification of an active ingredient of a natural product extract, which acts specifically on a target protein or proteins are provided. Techniques that can be used to prioritize inhibitors, agonists or ligands for lead compound development; to determine the therapeutic index of drug candidates; to assess the range of target proteins of drugs or drug candidates or lead compounds in organisms; and to discover novel target proteins of known drugs or known inhibitors are described.

摘要: The present invention relates to a blockchain method relating to geometric objects, a polygon storage method, an electronic device and a computer-readable storage medium. The blockchain token includes geometric data, and the geometric tokens are circulated through transfer, split, and merge. When geometric objects are of polygons representing the lands specified by the geographic location information, it is a suitable as blockchain for recording the transfer of land rights and interests. Except for the token representing the initial geometric objects, if the blockchain system limits all geometric objects in the blockchain to those generated by other tokens through transfers, splits or mergers, each polygon in an unspent token in the blockchain is unique and exclusive. If the initial polygon of the blockchain is one that represents the entire surface of the earth, the blockchain system can be used to record land circulation of the entire world.

摘要: A linearized thermal and optical model of an optical integrated circuit can be used to temperature-stabilize one or more optical elements of the circuit using active temperature regulation. To stabilize a single optical element, a temperature sensor and a heater can be provided proximate to the grating. Thermal and optical coefficients can be then used to select an appropriate temperature set-point for the temperature controller that receives readings from the sensor and determines the power dissipated in the heater. Multiple optical elements can be stabilized individually, using the same process and lumping cross-heating factors together with other environmental factors. Alternatively, multiple AWG's can be stabilized using fewer sensors than optical elements, by stabilizing one of the optical elements in the same manner as in the case of a single optical elements, and determining power dissipated in the heaters of the remaining optical elements based on the linearized model.
