    摘要: Certain aspects of the present disclosure provide techniques for performing periodic and aperiodic CSI reporting for MIMO operations. According to certain aspects, operations for performing periodic and aperiodic CSI reporting for MIMO generally includes configuring a user equipment (UE) that is capable of MIMO with different parameters for periodic and aperiodic channel state information (CSI) reporting, wherein the different parameters indicate at least one of what resources to measure or what in formation to report, and receiving periodic and aperiodic CSI reporting from the UE according to the configuration.

    摘要: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described that support non-periodic channel state information (CSI) triggering and reporting in wireless communications. In cases where two or more CSI report requests trigger multiple CSI report transmissions in an same uplink slot, a user equipment (UE) may format at least a subset of the multiple CSI reports according to a formatting configuration for transmission of multiple CSI reports in a same uplink slot. The UE may use allocated resources in the uplink slot for each CSI report that are allocated by the base station in the corresponding CSI report request. In some cases, the UE may combine the multiple CSI reports, or parts thereof, into a combined CSI report that may be transmitted using allocated resources of one of the CSI report requests.

    摘要: Certain aspects of the present disclosure provide methods and apparatus for linear precoding in full-dimensional MIMO (FD-MIMO) systems. According to aspects, an eNB may compress a larger number of antenna elements to a smaller number of antenna ports. The eNB may use a port precoding matrix to transmit reference signals to a UE, receive feedback regarding CSI based on the reference signals, and transmit data to the UE, based on a mapping of multiple data layers and mapping of antenna ports to the physical antenna elements. Further, aspects include performing elevation beamforming by dynamically forming one or more vertical sectors based on UE feedback in the elevation domain.

    摘要: A method and apparatus are disclosed for automatic optimization of Doppler imaging parameters. The method includes obtaining and storing at least two characteristic spectral lines at a predetermined pulse repetition frequency. The method further includes optimizing at least one of the Doppler imaging parameters based on the stored at least two characteristic spectral lines and a predetermined mean noise power. In one embodiment, the characteristic spectral lines are obtained by collecting in real time the Doppler spectral lines generated at the predetermined pulse repetition frequency within a predetermined time period, and processing the collected Doppler spectral lines in real time without storing them.
