    摘要: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described that support non-periodic channel state information (CSI) triggering and reporting in wireless communications. In cases where two or more CSI report requests trigger multiple CSI report transmissions in an same uplink slot, a user equipment (UE) may format at least a subset of the multiple CSI reports according to a formatting configuration for transmission of multiple CSI reports in a same uplink slot. The UE may use allocated resources in the uplink slot for each CSI report that are allocated by the base station in the corresponding CSI report request. In some cases, the UE may combine the multiple CSI reports, or parts thereof, into a combined CSI report that may be transmitted using allocated resources of one of the CSI report requests.

    摘要: Enhanced channel state information (CSI) procedures for full dimension-multiple input, multiple output (FD-MIMO) is discussed in which a number of CSI reference signal (CSI-RS) ports configured for a user equipment (UE) is determined. In response to the CSI-RS ports including both horizontal and vertical ports, the UE may determine a first precoding matrix from a plurality of precoding matrices constructed by a Kronecker product of a horizontal precoding matrix and a vertical precoding matrix. The UE selects a predetermined number of precoding vectors out of the first precoding matrix and generates a wideband precoding matrix, based on the selected predetermined number of precoding vectors. The UE reports one or more CSI reports, wherein the CSI reports includes at least one precoding matrix indicator (PMI) for the first precoding matrix and at least an indication of the selection of the predetermined number of precoding vectors.

    摘要: Certain aspects of the present disclosure provide techniques for adaptive modulo base selection for non-linear precoding. Aspects provide a method for wireless communications that can be performed by a base station (BS). The BS adaptively selects a modulo base for a data stream for at least one user equipment (UE) in a transmission to one or more UEs. The BS selects the modulo base based on one or more parameters. The BS transmits a signal for at least one UE of the one or more UEs to identify the selected modulo base. The BS performs the transmission to the one or more UEs. The UE receives the transmission from the BS and the signal for the identification of the selected modulo base. Based on the signal, the UE determines the modulo base for at least one data stream in the transmission and decodes the data stream using the modulo base.

    摘要: Enhanced channel state information (CSI) feedback is disclosed for full dimensional multiple input, multiple output (FD-MIMO) operations. In one aspect, a CSI process is defined that may be used to identify an azimuth and elevation CSI-reference signal (RS) ports. A user equipment (UE) will send a precoding matrix indictor (PMI) report including a precoding matrix indicator (PMI) for the azimuth ports and a PMI for the elevation ports. One of the PMIs is assigned a low rank. The base station will use the two PMIs to create a whole channel precoding matrix. In another aspect, a single CSI process is configured having a plurality of CSI-RS resources. The UE generates channel measurement information for each of the CSI-RS resources, but only sets a CSI report to the base station of a subset of the total number of resources.

The UE may receive a channel state feedback request corresponding to another set of channel state processes. The combination of the set of channel state processes and the other set of channel state processes may be greater than an amount that the UE may process at a given time. The UE may determine a priority for the channel state processes either on an individual or group basis. The UE may determine channel state process (es) to drop based on the determined priorities, and may perform the remaining channel state processes. The UE may generate and transmit a channel state feedback report message based on the performed channel state processes.
