摘要: A method of providing an electronic equipment enclosure having a plurality of panels, including identifying at least one panel through which air is intended to flow, determining the design parameters of the identified panel, and providing an electronic equipment enclosure that includes the identified panel, constructed according to the determined design parameters. Determining the design parameters of the identified panel includes first establishing a maximum ratio of open area to closed area of between 60% and 70% and then determining one or more other parameters of the design of the identified panel in view of the established maximum ratio of open area to closed area. Other parameters include the material of which the identified panel is to be constructed, its thickness, and its rigidity. Specific enclosures benefiting from the design process are also described.

摘要: A mounting bracket for a liquid dispenser is provided. The bracket includes a two-position locking mechanism. The locking mechanism includes a locking member slidingly engaged within the bracket. The locking member is capable of sliding to a first position at which an end portion of the locking member interferes with removal of the dispenser from the mounting bracket. Additionally, the locking member is capable of sliding to a second position at which the dispenser may be removed from the mounting bracket. The locking mechanism provides protection against removal by unauthorized persons, but allows easy removal by maintenance personnel.

摘要: A trouble ticket handling system is provided. The system typically includes a login logic, a monitoring device, and a user interface logic. The login logic typically operates to log a user into several trouble ticket systems. The monitoring device typically polls the trouble ticket systems for open trouble tickets. The user interface logic enables the user to automatically load a proper trouble ticket from any of the open trouble tickets in the trouble ticket systems. Methods and other systems are also provided.

摘要: A mixture of carbon-containing fibers, such as mesophase or isotropic pitch fibers, and a suitable matrix material, such as a milled pitch, is compressed while resistively heating the mixture to form a carbonized composite material having a density of about 1.5 g/cm3, or higher. The composite material is formed in under ten minutes. This is a significantly shorter time than for conventional processes, which typically take several days and achieve a lower density material. Consequently, carbon/carbon composite materials having final densities of about 1.6-1.8 g/cm3, or higher are readily achieved with one or two infiltration cycles using a pitch or other carbonaceous material to fill voids in the composite and rebaking.
