When the light-emitting layer is driven by AC current to emit light, the light-emitting particles of the light-emitting layer are energized and vibrated. The heat generated due to the friction can be dissipated so that the vibration of the light-emitting particles can be reduced or eliminated and a damping/muffling effect is achieved.

    摘要: A communication apparatus is provided. A power amplifier is coupled to an antenna and switched on or off according to a control signal. A baseband processing module is coupled to the power amplifier and a radio transceiver module, receives a bit stream comprising information indicating corresponding transmitting time and sub-carrier frequencies of up-link messages via the radio transceiver module, processes the bit stream to obtain a map profiling allocations of the up-link messages, prepares the up-link messages to be transmitted according to the map, and generates the control signal according to the map. Within a data frame period, when there is no up-link message to be transmitted during a up-link time interval, the power amplifier is switched off in response to the control signal during the up-link time interval.

    摘要: An electrowetting pixel structure includes a substrate, a hydrophobic dielectric layer, a non-polar liquid, a polar liquid, at least one electrode, and at least one contact hole. The hydrophobic dielectric layer is formed on the substrate, the non-polar liquid covers one surface of the hydrophobic dielectric layer, and the polar liquid is provided on the hydrophobic dielectric layer where the non-polar liquid and the polar liquid are immiscible. The electrode is formed on the substrate and divides the substrate into an electrode section and a non-electrode section. When a voltage is applied to the electrowetting pixel structure, the non-polar liquid contracts on the hydrophobic dielectric layer and is confined to an area substantially overlapping the non-electrode section. The contact hole is formed on the substrate at a position away from the non-electrode section of the electrowetting pixel structure.

    摘要: An image display apparatus is capable of recycling the “OFF” state light to increase the image brightness and contrast. The image display apparatus includes a light source, a spatial light modulator, a total internal reflection (TIR) prism, a projection lens set, and a reflector. The spatial light modulator selectively modulates a light beam from the light source to a first path to form a first path light beam or to a second path to form a second path light beam. The TIR prism disposed between the light source and the spatial light modulator is configured to allow the light beam to travel therethrough in a first direction and to be incident on the spatial light modulator. The projection lens set disposed between the modulator and a screen is configured to project the first path light beam to form an image on a screen. The reflector is configured to reflect the second path light beam to form a reflected light beam that is incident on the TIR prism in a second direction as a recaptured light beam. The recaptured light beam is then incident on the spatial light modulator in the first direction.
