Abstract: A semiconductor device including a large display portion with improved portability is provided. The display device includes a first display panel, a second display panel, and an adhesive layer. The area of the second display panel is larger than the area of the first display panel. The first display panel includes a first substrate, a second substrate, and a reflective liquid crystal element and a first transistor each positioned between the first substrate and the second substrate. The second display panel includes a first resin layer having flexibility, a second resin layer having flexibility, and a light-emitting element and a second transistor each positioned between the first resin layer and the second resin layer. The liquid crystal element has a function of reflecting light toward the second substrate side. The light-emitting element has a function of emitting light toward the second resin layer side. The first substrate and part of the second resin layer are bonded to each other with the adhesive layer.

Abstract: A novel functional panel that is highly convenient, useful, or reliable is provided. The functional panel includes a base material and a pair of pixels, and the base material covers the pair of pixels and has a light-transmitting property. The pair of pixels includes one pixel and another pixel, and the one pixel includes a light-emitting device and a first microlens. The light-emitting device emits light toward the base material, and the first microlens is interposed between the base material and the light emission and converges light. The first microlens includes a first surface and a second surface; the second surface is closer to the light-emitting device than the first surface is; and the second surface has a smaller radius of curvature than the first surface. The other pixel includes a photoelectric conversion device and a second microlens. The second microlens is interposed between the base material and the photoelectric conversion and converges external light incident from the base material side. The second microlens includes a third surface and a fourth surface; the third surface is closer to the photoelectric conversion device than the fourth surface is; and the fourth surface has a smaller radius of curvature than the third surface.

Abstract: An image capturing and display apparatus comprises a plurality of photoelectric conversion elements for converting incident light from the outside of the image capturing and display apparatus to electrical charge signals, and a plurality of light-emitting elements for emitting light of an intensity corresponding to the electrical charge signals acquired by the plurality of photoelectric conversion elements. A pixel region is defined as a region in which the plurality of photoelectric conversion elements are arranged in an array. Signal paths for transmitting signals from the plurality of photoelectric conversion elements to the plurality of light-emitting elements lie within the pixel region.

Various embodiments of a gas enclosure assembly so constructed additionally provide ready access to the interior of a gas enclosure assembly from the exterior during processing and readily access to the interior for maintenance, while minimizing downtime.

Abstract: The disclosure provides a laminate for a flexible image display device by using an optical film including at least a polarizer and a plurality of specific pressure-sensitive adhesive layers, which exhibits excellent bending resistance and adhesiveness and does not peel or break even after repeated bending; and a flexible image display device in which the laminate for a flexible image display device is disposed. The laminate includes a plurality of pressure-sensitive adhesive layers and an optical film including at least a polarizer, wherein a thickness of the polarizer is 20 μm or less, and a storage elastic modulus G′ at 25° C. of the pressure-sensitive adhesive layer at an outermost surface on a convex side when the laminate is folded, among the plurality of pressure-sensitive adhesive layers, is substantially equal to or lower than the storage elastic modulus G′ at 25° C. of another pressure-sensitive adhesive layer.
