Abstract:
A filter assembly for an electronic enclosure is disclosed. The filter assembly includes a screen or scrim material positioned at the bottom of adsorbent carbon media, the screen or scrim providing improved airflow along the bottom surface of the carbon media.
Abstract:
A logic circuit operates write receivers in a dynamic random access memory device in either a low-power mode, high write latency mode or a high-power mode, low write latency mode. The logic circuit receives a first signal indicative of whether the high-power, low write latency mode has been enabled, a second signal indicative of whether a row of memory cells in the memory device is active, a third signal indicative of whether the memory device is being operated in a power down mode, and a fourth signal indicative of whether read transmitters in the memory device are active. The logic circuit maintains power to the write receivers whenever the high-power, low write latency mode has been enabled if a row of memory cells in the memory device is active, the memory device is not being operated in the power down mode, and the read transmitters in the memory device are not active.
Abstract:
A system for representing information and decision flow requirements in a transactional business process is provided. The system comprises an information gathering object and a decision object. The information gathering object represents a piece of information used in the transactional business system and the decision object represents a satisfying condition for achieving an objective associated with the transactional business system. The system further comprises one or more information channels that link the information gathering objects to the one or more decision objects. The information channels represent the information and decision flow requirements within the transactional business system.
Abstract:
The invention (Fence Buddy) provides a vertical frame with two horizontal arms with removable stops secured with a lynch pin to hold a roll of barbed wire, cable, or electrical wire without restricting them from unrolling. The base of the frame features a two-inch square tube that fits into a standard two-inch receiver hitch of an automobile, or fits on an ATV (All Terrain Vehicle) that has an adapter receiver. The frame also features an attached vertical tube to house various tools such as posthole diggers, pry bars, tamping poles, ect. The vertical tube has two, heavy-duty supply bags attached on opposite sides to carry smaller supplies such as hammers, nails, pliers, wire wraps, ect. Also attached to the vertical frame are two eye-bolts positioned to connect a fence puller when stretching the barbed wire.
Abstract:
One or more external control pins and/or addressing pins on a memory device are used to set one or both of a burst length and burst type of the memory device.
Abstract:
A filter including a base portion along with a flange extending from the base and a top surface plus a bottom surface is disclosed. The filter also includes an outlet. During use the filter is placed within an electronic enclosure, generally with the bottom surface in contact with the wall of the enclosure. The wall of the enclosure has an inlet through which gases can travel into the interior of the filter, and then eventually leaving the filter by way of the outlet, which is within the interior of the electronic enclosure.
Abstract:
A synchronous memory device and its method of operation which can be set to operate at a plurality of supported prefetch modes. The prefetch mode may be set by programming a portion of a mode register of the memory device or by setting one or more programmable elements. For read operations, the synchronous memory device internally reads data corresponding to the largest supported prefetch size, and outputs read data corresponding to the current mode. For write operations the synchronous memory accepts write data corresponding to the selected prefetch mode and writes the received data to the array. Data words corresponding to data not received are masked from writing via a write masking circuit.
Abstract:
A preparation tray for use in a medical procedure involving a solution and one or more swab implements for applying the solution to a patient. The preparation tray, which may be held in the hand or supported on a surface, may be formed as a removable component of a surgical kit. The preparation tray includes a relatively planar sheet having a pair of opposed sides and various embossments for retaining medical implements such as swabs and solution utilized in the medical procedure. A digit opening may be provided on an opposed side of the sheet to accommodate a user's fingers as the tray is held in the hand. The tray further includes a pressing surface formed between two opposed sides of the sheet that communicates with a basin embossment that holds a quantity of the solution. A user may compress the swab implement against the pressing surface to remove excess solution absorbed by the swab, which is returned to the basin embossment. The pressing surface is supported by the hand of a user so as to avoid flexing of the tray and spillage of the solution during the procedure. The tray is readily manipulable by either left-handed or right-handed users.
Abstract:
A thermoforming apparatus is described herein. The apparatus may include a pressure mechanism, a thermal device, a plurality of individually actuatable pins, and/or a pin actuation mechanism. The pressure mechanism may create a force against a die surface. The thermal device may change a thermal state of a material forced by the pressure mechanism against the die surface. The plurality of individually actuatable pins may form the die surface. The pin actuation mechanism may be connected to the plurality of actuatable pins and/or may actuate the pins. This apparatus improves on prior solutions in many ways. For example, embodiments of the thermoforming apparatus may require significantly less time between different molds than previous thermoforming machines and 3D printers.
