摘要: The present invention provides a novel process of neutralizing textile industrial wastewater by a bacterial strain isolated in India. The isolated bacterial strain is capable to bring down the pH of wastewater from 12.00 to 7.00 units within two hours. The neutralization of alkaline textile industrial wastewater by such biotechnological process is highly effective and economical as compared to conventional neutralization by chemical means. This biotechnological process may find wide commercial application in textile industries emanating alkaline wastewater.

摘要: EMI caused on a sensitive pin by large electric current flowing through a load pin when driving a high load is reduced or substantially eliminated. An equal amount of current, but in opposite direction, is caused to be flown in another pin (“third pin”) located close to the load pin. As a result, the EMI caused by the third pin cancels the EMI generated by the load pin. During a discharge phase, a fourth pin carries and equal amount of current, but in opposite direction, to that in the load pin. The third and fourth pins may be formed by power supply pin and ground pin. A control path may avoid a path from the third pin to the fourth pin during both the charging and discharging phases. In addition, the high load may be driven by a programmable driver which uses an amount of current proportionate to the extent of load, thereby avoiding parasitic currents. EMI is further reduced as a result.

摘要: A drill bit insert has a cylindrical barrel, a bevel on one end, an interface therebetween, and a cutting tip opposite the bevel. The bevel and interface contact the entrance to a hole in the drill bit and facilitate the transition of the barrel into the hole. A high quality surface finish on the bevel and interface enhance the durability and retention of the insert in the drill bit. The surface finish on the insert is produced by polishing it with a diamond lapping film. The insert is rotated between three rollers as the lapping film passes over its surface. One of the rollers and the film conform to the axial profile of the insert as each element rotates so that the interface, bevel, and barrel of the insert are simultaneously polished.
