    Abstract: In an audio processing system (300), a filtering section (350, 400): receives subband signals (410, 420, 430) corresponding to audio content of a reference signal (301) in respective frequency subbands; receives subband signals (411, 421, 431) corresponding to audio content of a response signal (304) in the respective subbands; and forms filtered inband references (412, 422, 432) by applying respective filters (413, 423, 433) to the subband signals of the reference signal. For a frequency subband: filtered crossband references (424, 425) are formed by multiplying, by scalar factors (426, 427), filtered inband references of other subbands; a composite filtered reference (428) is formed by summing the filtered inband reference of the subband (422) and the filtered crossband references; a residual signal (429) is computed as a difference between the composite filtered reference and the subband signal of the response signal corresponding to the subband; and the scalar factors and the filter applied to the subband signal of the reference signal corresponding to the subband are adjusted based on the residual signal.

    Abstract: The disclosure relates to handling nuisance in teleconference system. An endpoint device (400) for use in a teleconference includes an acquiring unit (401), a judging unit (402), a controller (403) and a processing unit (404). The acquiring unit acquires a media stream for presentation in the teleconference, and receives information from another device. The information includes a first estimation on whether the media stream is a nuisance to the teleconference. As the nuisance to a teleconference, audio or video signals are perceived by users as actually not relevant to the conference session or causing unpleasant feeling or confusion. The judging unit decides whether the media stream is the nuisance at least based on the information. The controller controls the processing of the media stream to degrade or suppress the presentation of the media stream in case that the media stream is decided as the nuisance. The processing unit processes the media stream under the control of the controller.

    Abstract: A method of facilitating the re-joining of a virtual meeting by a participant. The method comprises determining at what time the participant was disconnected from the virtual meeting; and determining whether or not the participant was talking within a time period containing the time at which the participant was disconnected from the virtual meeting. If it is determined that the participant was talking within the time period, then, consequently, the method comprises deciding not to enable the participant to replay stored data representative of a missed portion of the virtual meeting.     Abstract: An audio apparatus is configured to switch, when there exists a first audio interface between the audio apparatus and a computer apparatus, to using a second audio interface between the audio apparatus and the computer apparatus, the second audio interface being different from the first audio interface.     Abstract: A computer implemented system for rendering captured audio soundfields to a listener comprises apparatus to deliver the audio soundfields to the listener. The delivery apparatus delivers the audio soundfields to the listener with first and second audio elements perceived by the listener as emanating from first and second virtual source locations, respectively, and with the first audio element and/or the second audio element delivered to the listener from a third virtual source location.
