    摘要: A solution for allocating frequency blocks in high-speed packet data transmission between a base station and a mobile station of a mobile telecommunication system utilizing an orthogonal frequency division multiplexing (OFDM) data transmission scheme in which data is transmitted in a plurality of frequency blocks, each frequency block comprising a plurality of OFDM subcarriers, is provided. According to the provided scheme, the mobile station calculates a coarse channel quality indicator CQI and at least one defining CQI for every frequency block. The defining CQI improves the resolution of the channel quality indicated by the coarse CQI. The mobile station transmits the coarse CQIs first to the base station for frequency block allocation and then the defining information contained in the defining CQIs. Accordingly, CQI reports may be transmitted with less number of bits, which reduces the amount of signaling.

    摘要: A method of handling intercell interference applies physical layer (L1) scheduling decisions to ensure that L1 hybrid automatic repeat request (H-ARQ) retransmissions will not experience the same interference conditions. The retransmission is scheduled in a sub-frame portion that does not include previously tracked allocations of a plurality of users. Potential intercell interference is also handled by applying a time-shift of the L1 H-ARQ retransmissions, such that the bit positions impacted by inter-cell interference will change and thus assure a more robust performance.

    摘要: The present invention relates to a method and a device for controlling power in a network transmitted from a first station to a second station. The second station determines a power target value for a signal received from the first station and sends power control commands to the first station depending on a deviation between said power target value and a received power level. The second station detects faulty data blocks received from the first station and requests retransmission of faulty data blocks from the first station. The adjustment of the power target value to a temporary power target value during the retransmission is performed such that the temporary power target value is calculated depending on the quality of a faulty data block.
