An edge-lit backlight device is disclosed in the present disclosure. The edge-lit backlight device comprises a light guide plate, light sources and a backplate. The light guide plate comprises two wedged plate portions and a rectangular plate portion, the two wedged plate portions are disposed at two sides of the rectangular plate portion respectively, and the wedged plate portions and the rectangular plate portion each comprise a light incident surface and a bottom surface. The light sources are disposed adjacent to the light incident surfaces of the wedged plate portions and the rectangular plate portion respectively. A liquid crystal display (LCD) is also disclosed in the present disclosure. The edge-lit backlight device and the LCD of the present disclosure are simple in structure, allow for regional control functions and can dissipate heat generated by the light sources in a timely and efficient way.

The processing method of the joining backplane, comprising: plates of the heatsink plate and the supporting plate are put into the same die for processing; then, the heatsink plate and the supporting plate, which are processed, are joined and fixed. In the present invention, because the heatsink plate and the supporting plate are processed simultaneously on one set of dies, the original processing courses of two plates are merged for reducing half of the processing steps. In addition, because the heatsink plate and the supporting plate are simultaneously processed in the same die, the two plates have good consistency and better planeness in joining.

A backplane comprises a heatsink plate and a supporting plate connected with the heatsink plate; the heat conductivity of the heatsink plate is larger than that of the supporting plate; the heatsink plate or the supporting plate is provided with reinforcing ribs in the joint. In the present invention, metal with good heat dispersion and common material with low cost are respectively adopted and joined according to different radiating areas of the backlight module; then, the heat dispersion is ensured and meanwhile, the cost is reduced. The reinforcing ribs are added in the joint so that the strength of the joint is enhanced and the backplane is tightened and durable.

The multifunctional plastic frame comprises a frame body for supporting an LCD panel and covers movably connected with outer edges of the frame body. The covers are turned over along the outer edges of the frame body to press against edges of the LCD panel and to be buckled to the frame body. According to the present disclosure, the number of parts and consequently the cost are reduced; and the backlight module can be assembled quickly in a convenient way, which is favorable for improving the assembling efficiency of the backlight module.

The present invention discloses a backplane of liquid crystal display (LCD) device, back light module and LCD device. A backplane of LCD device comprises a mainboard; wherein, the side of the mainboard is provided with a shield on the rubber frame corresponding to the LCD device. The present invention extends the backplane of LCD device and covers exposed part of rubber frames. Because the backplane of LCD device has an intensity which is significantly higher than that of rubber frames and is not easily damaged during handling, the aim of protecting rubber frames and source pcbs is achieved. However, because the backplane of LCD device is adjacent to rubber frames, shields can be added directly in the backplane of LCD device. The process is simple and can minimize use of material for covering.

The light-emitting source package structure comprises: a heat-dissipation base, at least one chip and a heat-dissipation fixing element. The heat-dissipation base has a connection hole. The heat-dissipation fixing element further has a connection post and a heat-dissipation fin with an abutting surface, and the connection post of the heat-dissipation fixing element passes through a through hole of a fixed plate to fix in the connection hole, so that for closely aligning the abutting surface of the heat-dissipation fin and can abut against the fixed plate. Thus, and the heat-dissipation base and the heat-dissipation fixing element are stably fixed on the both sides of the fixed plate to ensure the tightly abutting relationship with the fixed plate and enhance the assembly reliability. Meanwhile, the heat-dissipation fin can additionally increase the heat-dissipation efficiency of the heat-dissipation fixing element. Thus, the temperature of the chip can be surely lowered to prevent from lowing the working efficiency of the chip. The backplane for a liquid crystal display (LCD) device includes side walls, and the backplane at least includes two backplane units. A horizontal moving guide device is arranged between the adjacent backplane units, and an elastic device which enables the two backplane units to relatively elastically expand and contract horizontally is further arranged between the adjacent backplane units. The backplane of the LCD device of the present disclosure is designed to be able to elastically expand and contract in a direction perpendicular to a light emitting diode (LED) lightbar. When a light guide panel (LGP) in the backplane expands after absorbing heat, the backplane is extended by a pushing force, and heat expansion quantity of the LGP is directly absorbed. When the LGP is contracted because of temperature drop, the backplane is shortened under action of the elastic device, and a light coupling distance between the LGP and the LED lightbar is always kept constant.
