Abstract: Examples include apparatuses, processes, and methods for generating three-dimensional objects. An example apparatus comprises build material distributor and a controller. Examples distribute a particular build layer in a build area of the apparatus over a previous build layer. Examples determine a build layer temperature corresponding to the particular build layer. Examples analyze build layer coverage for the particular build layer based at least in part on a build layer temperature of the previous build layer and the build layer temperature of the particular build layer. Examples selectively recoat the particular build layer with additional build material based at least in part on the build layer coverage for the particular build layer.

Abstract: According to an example, a computing apparatus may include a processing device and a machine readable storage medium on which is stored instructions that when executed by the processing device, cause the processing device to access, from a sensing device, information pertaining to formation of a part of a 3D object in a layer of build materials upon which fusing agent droplets have been or are to be selectively deposited. The instructions may also cause the processing device to predict, based upon the accessed information, a quality of the part and output an indication of the predicted quality of the part.

Abstract: A three-dimensional object is generated using a build material and a printing agent. A visible property of one of the build material and the printing agent is identified. The other of the build material and the printing agent is selected based at least on the other of the build material and the printing agent having a given visible property. A three-dimensional object is generated using the one of build material and the printing agent having the identified visible property and the other of the build material and the printing agent having the given visible property. The selecting is based at least on the identified visible property and the given visible property having a desired visible property relationship. An apparatus for building a three-dimensional object is also disclosed.

Abstract: Methods and apparatus relating to substructures for three-dimensional objects are described. In an example, a processing apparatus includes: an interface to receive data representing a three-dimensional model object, the data including object model data and object property data; a mapping module to map received data to a print material coverage representation; a halftone module to provide halftone threshold data; and a substructure module to define a substructure for a three-dimensional object to be generated, the substructure specifying in at least a region thereof a consistent lattice structure and a variable material distribution. The apparatus is to apply a substructure and a halftoning to the print material coverage representation to generate control data for the production of a three-dimensional object having the substructure.

The sacrificial object engine is to identify an object location to place a sacrificial object in response to a determination that the temperature level of the target region is deficient to achieve a temperature threshold for production.

Abstract: A three-dimensional object may be generated. Coalescing agent may be selectively delivered on a portion of a first layer of build material on a support member or previous layer. Energy may be applied to the first layer to cause the portion of the first layer to coalesce and solidify. A second layer of the build material may be provided on the first layer. While the second layer does not have coalescing agent delivered thereon, energy may be applied to the second layer such that energy may propagate through the second layer to the first layer to cause the portion of the first layer to coalesce and further solidify.
