Abstract: Example implementations relate to liquid crystal display (LCD) lighting modes. An example device can include an LCD, a wide gamut light-emitting diode (LED) light set to backlight the LCD, a narrow gamut LED light set to backlight the LCD and a controller communicatively coupled to the LCD. The controller can switch the LCD between a wide gamut lighting mode, a narrow gamut lighting mode, and a high brightness lighting mode in response to changes in ambient light and content displayed on the LCD.

Abstract: Examples disclosed herein provide the ability for a computing device to configure one microphone at a time from physically colocated devices to remain active for participating in a teleconference. In one example method, the computing device determines whether a first device with a first microphone on the teleconference is physically colocated with respect to a second device with a second microphone on the teleconference. When the first and second devices are physically colocated with respect to each other, the computing device configures either the first or second microphone to remain active for participating in the teleconference while the other of the first or second microphone is to be muted.

Abstract: An example device includes a headset interface to connect a headset that includes a speaker and a first microphone, a second microphone to detect ambient sound in an environment of the device, and a processor connected to the headset interface and the second microphone. The processor is to perform a volume adjustment to sound to be outputted at the speaker of the headset based on the ambient sound detected by the second microphone during a call that uses the headset. The processor is further to compensate the volume adjustment for a user's voice detected at the first microphone.

Abstract: An example of an apparatus is provided. The apparatus includes a display portion and a camera. Also, the apparatus includes a polymer dispersed liquid crystal disposed between the thin film transistor substrate and the camera. The polymer dispersed liquid crystal is to be switched between an opaque state and a clear state. The opaque state is to block the camera from receiving imaging light. The clear state allows light to pass through the polymer dispersed liquid crystal.
