    Abstract: Methods, systems, and apparatus for communications are provided. In one aspect, a communication method including: determining, by a first communications apparatus, buffer latency information, and sending, by the first communications apparatus, the buffer latency information. The buffer latency information is determined based on a buffer latency of one or more data packets. The buffer latency indicates one of a time interval between a time point at which a data packet arrives at an access stratum (AS) and a time point at which a corresponding buffer status report (BSR) is sent, or a time interval between a time point at which a data packet arrives at an AS and a time point at which a corresponding uplink grant is received.

    Abstract: A data sending method and an apparatus are provided to reduce a quantity of UEs that retransmit data, and to reduce an entire data sending latency. The method includes: sending, by a base station, power configuration information to a terminal, where the power configuration information includes a one-to-one correspondence between power information and terminal status information, and the power configuration information is used to enable the terminal to obtain transmit power used to send data; and receiving, by the base station, data sent by the terminal, where the transmit power of the data is determined by the terminal based on the power configuration information; the terminal status information includes at least one of a service type of the data sent by the terminal, a priority of the data sent by the terminal, and information about measurement of a radio environment by the terminal.

    Abstract: Embodiments of the present invention provide a variable bandwidth-based communication method and an apparatus. The method includes: sending, by a network node, indication information to UE, where the indication information is used to indicate a target bandwidth parameter used by a serving cell corresponding to the UE; and communicating, by the network node, with the UE based on the target bandwidth parameter, where the target bandwidth parameter includes at least one of a target bandwidth, a target center frequency, and an enablement time of the target bandwidth. In this way, the network node can communicate with the UE in a changed bandwidth, so as to avoid a case in which communication is still performed in a relatively high bandwidth when a network load is relatively low, and reduce device power consumption.

    Abstract: The method may include: after receiving, through a first interface or a second interface, resource allocation information of a neighboring cell of a serving cell in which UE is located, a network device may allocate a resource to the UE based on the resource allocation information of the neighboring cell, so as to prevent the UE from using a same resource as UE located in the neighboring cell, and reduce interference to the neighboring cell; or allocate, to the UE, a resource with relatively small interference to the UE, so as to reduce interference of the neighboring cell to the UE. The first interface is an interface that performs communication by using a UE-to-UE communications technology. The second interface is an interface that performs communication by using a UE-to-network device communications technology.

    Abstract: A power control method includes: obtaining, by a first terminal, power control information, where the power control information is information used to control a transmit power used by the first terminal when the first terminal communicates with a second terminal; determining a target transmit power based on the power control information; and sending first data to the second terminal based on the target transmit power. A first communication link is established between the first terminal and the second terminal. In the present disclosure, the following prior-art problem is resolved: In a relay or D2D communication scenario, a base station does not configure, for a specific terminal, a transmit power used by the terminal during D2D communication. Therefore, transmit powers used by different terminals during D2D communication are indicated to the different terminals, and a power control effect is improved.

This application reduces time required by the terminal device to monitor a downlink channel or downlink data through control by the timer, thereby reducing power consumption of the terminal device.

    Abstract: A data transmission method and apparatus are provided. The method includes: sending, by a terminal device, a message 1 including a random access preamble to a first network device; receiving DCI and a message 2 including downlink data scheduled by the DCI from the first network device, wherein the DCI and/or the message 2 include/includes first information, which is used to schedule ACK/NACK feedback information of the message 2; and sending the ACK/NACK feedback information to the first network device based on the first information. According to the application, the first information is used to schedule the ACK/NACK feedback information, therefore the terminal device may send the ACK/NACK feedback information of the message 2 to the first network device in an MT-EDT scenario based on the first information, thereby improving robustness of transmission of the downlink data in the message 2.
