    Abstract: Embodiments of the present invention disclose a communication method and a device. Configuration information indicating one or more spatial domain beam basis vector groups and Q thresholds is received from a network device, where the Q thresholds correspond one-to-one to spatial domain beam basis vectors in the one or more spatial domain beam basis vector groups. L spatial domain beam basis vectors are selected from a spatial domain beam basis vector group set. K frequency domain basis vectors are selected from a frequency domain basis vector set for each of the L spatial domain beam basis vectors.

    Abstract: This application provides channel information obtaining methods and communications apparatuses, to reduce pilot overheads and a delay of obtaining channel information. In an example method, a terminal device receives one or more first reference signals on a dth port of the terminal device, where the first reference signal is a reference signal from a first network device. The terminal device obtains a first channel vector h1,d based on the received first reference signal, where h1,d a channel vector of a channel between the dth port of the terminal device and the first network device. The terminal device receives N second reference signals on the dth port of the terminal device.     Abstract: The present disclosure describes methods, device, system that provide a codebook indication operation. In one example, a codebook indication method includes: receiving by a terminal device, a transmission parameter indication information indicating an index of one codebook subset configuration of three codebook subset configurations in the terminal device from a base station, wherein the three codebook subset configurations in the terminal device are related to fully coherent, partial coherent, and incoherent respectively, and the codebook subset configuration related to fully coherent includes M indexes, the codebook subset configuration related to partial coherent includes N indexes, and the codebook subset configuration related to incoherent includes K indexes, wherein M is an integer larger than N, and N is larger than K; and determining a transmission layer and precoding matrix associated with the index according to the transmission parameter indication information.

    Abstract: An uplink power control method comprises: receiving configuration information of a channel state information reference signal (CSI-RS) from a base station, wherein the configuration information of the CSI-RS comprises reference signal port information and reference signal power information; and measuring a path loss for uplink power control based on the configuration information of the CSI-RS. Using the CSI-RS to measure the path loss differs from using a common CRS in that the CSI-RS may be aimed at a specific base station. Therefore, path loss measurement may be performed with respect to a target base station of uplink transmission, enabling the path loss compensation to match the actual path loss, thus improving the performance of uplink power control.

    Abstract: A reference signal sequence configuration method includes: selecting, by a network device and from candidate IDs, an ID used for generating a reference signal initialization sequence for a terminal, where the candidate IDs include at least two IDs, and the selected ID does not include a scrambling ID; and generating a reference signal initialization sequence for the terminal according to the selected ID. An implementation manner of the present invention further provides a network device. In the reference signal sequence configuration method and the network device, a reference signal initialization sequence is generated according to the selected ID, thereby providing a manner of generating a reference signal initialization sequence different from the manner in the prior art.

    Abstract: Embodiments of the present invention disclose methods and apparatuses for receiving and sending a control channel, and are applicable to the field of communications technologies. In the embodiments of the present invention, a base station carries scheduling information of a user equipment of an R11 system in both the PDCCH region and the E-PDCCH region of a downlink subframe. In this way, the user equipment needs to detect the control channel within the PDCCH region and the E-PDCCH region, so that resources of the two regions are available to the user equipment of the R11 system. Moreover, the user equipment detects only the control channel of the first type in the PDCCH region, and detects control channels of the other type in the E-PDCCH region. The method in the embodiments of the present invention does not increase the number of control channel detections.
