    摘要: A process determines the torque transmitted by the gas forces to the crankshaft of an internal-combustion engine. The rotational speed data which is detected by determining the angular speed of a component fixedly connected with the crankshaft is analyzed, and the rotating moment is computed from the angular speed correlated with the rotational speed by way of the moment of inertia of the engine. In addition to the rotational moment of the engine, the torques of the oscillating masses, the torsional moments of the crankshaft and the static torques resulting from all slowly variable friction moments, effective moments and load moments are determined. From a balance of these individual torques, the torque resulting form the gas forces is determined. Subsequently, the work delivered by the individual cylinders per working cycle is determined from this torque. The thus determined operating parameters is used for the engine control and/or for the on-board diagnosis.

    摘要: In connection with an automatic control device for the cleaning power of a vacuum cleaner, comprising a blower, a blower drive motor and an associated control circuit for the latter, it is proposed to provide two vacuum switches adjusted to different vacuum threshold value or one vacuum double switch presetting the two vacuum threshold values, and to drive a storage (counter, capacitor), whose output configurations determine the manner in which a phase control circuit, which is connected in series with the blower drive motor, is driven, by a corresponding configuration of the switching conditions of the said switches. It is possible in this manner, with only two existing vacuum switches, to operate the blower drive motor at a predetermined power plateau, without any switching actions, so long as the vacuum generated remains within a predetermined window.

    摘要: A device for controlling the operation of a vacuum cleaner and for signalling the dust bag fill level, the existence a clogged pipe or of secondary air openings, or the like has an air turbine arranged in the exhaust air flow generated by the blower of a vacuum cleaner, downstream of the dust bag, whose rotary speed or the air turbine is detected in a non-contact manner, converted into an electric indication signal and supplied to a control circuit which controls the blower motor. Based upon the rotary speed so detected, it is then possible to determine the momentary operating conditions of the vacuum cleaner and/or the dust bag fill level, to emit signals warning the operator that the dust bag has to be changed, and also to display finely graded percentage statements or applicable text messages for the user. By combining this information with pressure values picked up by diaphragm-type switches, it is possible to accurately determine the operating conditions to be indicated.

    摘要: Protective device for dust collecting devices, in particular vacuum cleaners such as wheel-mounted or hand vacuum cleaners, whereby the presence of any dust behind the dust collecting vessel, due to a damage to the dust collecting vessel, is detected by means of an electric sensor comprising a light receiver and a light transmitter, and supplied in the form of an electric signal to an associated evaluation circuit. The design of the evaluation circuit is such that when a given threshold value is exceeded it will respond and activate an associated blocking and braking arrangement for interrupting the operation of the vacuum cleaner abruptly. This prevents the collected dust, the quantities of which may be quite considerable, to be blown back within a few seconds into the environment by the continued operation of the dust collecting device in case the dust bag should for example break.

    摘要: A pressure-sensitive electrical switch is provided with a diaphragm which can be displaced against the action of a spring and which defines together with a supporting housing a pressure chamber. There is at least one outwardly projecting connection contact in the form of a contact pin. For mechanically mounting the housing of the switch there is provided at least one latching element comprising a latch for engagement in a receiving opening of a supporting board or print board or the like, the electric contact with the conductor paths of the printed circuit board being established by an electrically conductive pressure spring superimposed upon the pin-like outwardly projecting connection contact which spring in the latched position of the at least one latching element is urged into contact with the associated electric conductor path. Accordingly, mounting of such a pressure-sensitive switch on the supporting board or print board can be effected without shocks and without the application of important forces so that the prior adjustment of the system is rendered possible.

    摘要: An operating condition indicator for vacuum cleaners which has a diaphragm switch which responds to vacuum and a luminous indicating device. The operating-condition indicator is intended for vacuum cleaners which have a turboblower which acts directly on the suction connection and is arranged in front of the dust bag, the pressure detected in the region of the suction opening becoming less as the dust bag becomes increasingly full. The vacuum is detected at the suction opening and fed to a diaphragm switch having additional spring biasing, as a result of which an indication of readiness for operation is obtained when the motor is off and, in addition, a warning indication is given when the dust bag is excessively full, without the necessity of actuating a switch.
