摘要: An apparatus for delivering a medium at an adjustable temperature, comprising a pump, a hose having one end connected to the pump, and the other end for delivering the medium, a heating element provided along a portion of the hose such that the medium flowing through the hose is heated, wherein a thermal resistance is present between the heating element and the medium, and a circuit for adjusting the temperature of the heating element. A resistance detection device connected to the heating element detects the resistance of the heating element. A power detection device connected to the heating element detects the power supplied to the heating element, and a control device establishes the temperature of the medium on the basis of the values established by the resistance detection device and the power detection device, and adjusts the temperature of the heating element according to said established temperature of the medium.

摘要: A device for controlling a driving light of a vehicle includes a headlight with a light source, a device for pivoting a produced light distribution and an optical element that provides adjustable light distribution. The optical element includes a light passage opening pivotable into an optical axis of the light source. A beam of the light distribution is limited or deflected such that a limited light field is produced in a pre-settable region in front of the vehicle, which light field has an external form of the light passage opening. Further light passage structures provide a “high beam” or “partial high beam” light pattern and thereafter the “high beam” light pattern by turning, pivoting and/or displacing the optical element in one direction, and another further light passage structure provides a “motorway” and thereafter a “country road” light pattern by turning, pivoting and/or displacing the optical element in an opposite direction.

摘要: An automatic brake and steering system and method for a vehicle contains a sensor unit for sensing vehicle state and characteristic variables, and ambient conditions. Furthermore, a control unit and actuator devices are provided for setting the vehicle brake system and/or the vehicle steering system. In order to be able to carry out automatic avoidance maneuvers with maximum safety, an avoidance route is determined if there is an obstacle in the path of the vehicle. Thereby, if there is a further obstacle on the avoidance route, the strategy for determining the avoidance route is applied once more. If it is not possible to find a collision-free avoidance route, that route on which the difference between the remaining braking distance and the remaining distance from the obstacle is smallest is selected.

摘要: The invention concerns a device for improving visibility in a motor vehicle. It includes a radiation source for illumination of the vehicle environment with infrared radiation, an infrared sensitive camera for detection of at least a portion of the illuminated vehicle environment and a display for depicting the image information detected by the camera. In accordance with the invention the camera is provided with a homogenous IR-filter, which exhibits various spectral transmission characteristics. The IR-filter exhibits a degree of transmission of about 1 in at least a partial range of the infrared spectrum. In the visual spectral region, the typical blocking effect of an IR-filter is 10−5 or less. In the visual spectrum the transmission of the IR-filter according to the invention is not continuous, and includes at least one narrow band transmissive region with a degree of transmissivity of approximately or greater than 10−3 for visible light. By this design of the device for improvement of visibility in a motor vehicle, a reliable detection of the environment is made possible, and thus it becomes possible to more reliably visualize the street traffic.

摘要: An apparatus for a controlled supply of current to an electric consumer, including a turn-on function. The apparatus including a circuit board having conductor paths, a subordinated phase control circuit mounted on the circuit board and having a triac switching in both directions of an AC supply voltage and a trigger circuit for triggering the triac, the triac being connected in series with the consumer, a contact point mounted to the board, and a springing metal tongue having a first end mounted to the board and a second end that extends above the contact point at a distance from the board. The metal tongue and the contact point form electric contacts with the conductor paths on the board so as to define a switch. The electric contacts lead to connection points in the trigger circuit of the triac. The triac is operative to control current flow through a load of the consumer so that contact established by a movement of the metal tongue supplies the load with high currents in dependence on a setting via the triac, which is now switched through, while simultaneously there is very low current flow via the switch formed by the metal tongue and the contact point that lies in the triac trigger circuit.

摘要: In an apparatus for regulating the power consumption of a vacuum cleaner, it is proposed to detect the pulsating alternating current present at the driving electric motor and delivered by a phase-angle circuit by means of a parallel voltage sensor, rectify it, smooth it, digitize it, and, on the basis of data stored in tabular form from a memory arranged in a microprocessor, convert it into a true effective value of the motor voltage; and subsequently to compare it with various associated respective manually defined power data and to activate the phase-angle circuit so that irrespective of fluctuations or different power system alternating voltages or frequencies, motor output is regulated to constant values corresponding to the manual setting.
