摘要: An input/output apparatus records both a handwritten image and a speech to facilitate the collation between the recorded image and speech. When a command recognizing section recognizes that a handwritten image input through a coordinate input section is a voice command image, a voice processor starts recording the speech, input from a microphone, into a voice recording memory. During this recording, the voice processor sets the input handwritten image as a key image. When an end command image is written, the voice processor registers the speech, recorded in the voice recording memory, into a voice register file in association with the key image. When an image identical to the registered key image is input, the voice processor reads the speech corresponding to the key image from the voice register file into the voice recording memory, and reproduces the speech from a loudspeaker.

摘要: In a loop circuit having a low-pass filter, a delay circuit, and an all-pass filter, a wave signal read from a wave memory is supplied as an excitation signal to the loop circuit and circulated therein to synthesize a musical tone signal. A musical tone signal to be synthesized and processed by a signal processing system having a characteristic inverse to the loop circuit is stored in the wave memory.

摘要: A musical tone control apparatus has grips and elbow angle detectors, in which the grips are hand held and provided with push-button switches and an actuator, both of which are operated by fingers to generate musical tone control data having variations of musical tone. While the elbow angle detectors are provided with an angle detector for measuring an angle of the elbow during a performance, and generating musical tone control data with the variations corresponding to the angle of the elbow. Each variation is determined by function assignments which correspond to each of the fingers and elbows. The function assignments are preloaded in a memory device, such as a depth of vibrato, a speed of tremolo, a range of pitch-bend, and the like. Accordingly, the musical tone control apparatus transfers musical tone control data having variations to a musical tone generating apparatus to produce a musical tone from a speaker.

摘要: A series of delay circuits are provided which receive tone signal sample data of plural channels supplied on a time shared basis, hold plural tone signal sample data of each channel and hold these plural sample data while sequentially delaying them. The series of delay circuits are connected in an endless manner to form a circulating loop and plural data selection circuits are provided at predetermined delay stages. Each data selection circuit performs a selection control as to whether new tone signal sample data should be loaded in the delay circuit loop or data in the delay circuit should be circulated. Tone signal sample data which are provided sequentially from the delay circuit loop after delay are sequentially operated with filter coefficients of plural orders and results of the operation are accumulated to obtain a filter operation output. This construction enables tone signal sample data of a necessary channel to be loaded in the delay circuit loop at a point of a necessary data selection circuit in a time period which is shorter than one cycle of the entire delay circuit loop. Therefore, the time division period of supplied tone signal sample data of each channel can be made different from the time division period of each channel in the delay circuit loop.

摘要: A musical tone control apparatus includes at least one stick to be held by a person's hand and at least one detector to be attached to a person's leg. The stick and detector are respectively equipped with sensors each detecting a physical parameter accompanied with a spatial displacement thereof. Preferably, the sensor is constructed by an acceleration sensor for detecting an acceleration as the physical parameter. Based on detection results of the sensors, a generation of a muscial tone is controlled when the stick and detector are swung with the swinging motions of the person's arm and leg. In addition, a switch is provided to the stick, by which a tone color of the musical tone to be generated is controlled in response to an operation of this switch. Preferably, the musical tone control apparatus can provide two sticks to be held by both hands and two detectors to be attached to both legs.

摘要: Musical instruments usually require a high level of skill on the part of the operator. In the case of electronic instruments, playing an instrument often involves the depressing of keys on a keyboard. In the present invention, an apparatus for the generation of musical sounds is described which is instead based on monitoring motions of the body, especially the natural motion of swinging the arms and legs. The monitoring of body motion depends on the use of an acceleration sensor in a hand-held element, or on the use of an acceleration sensor contained in a detachable housing which is held by a "Velcro" (Trademark) type fastener to a part of the body. The signal from the acceleration sensor is transmitted via a cable or a wireless transmitter to a musical tone signal generating circuit which is contained, along with batteries, in a belt-shaped casing which may be worn by the user. The musical tone generating circuit receives signals from the acceleration sensor, and using the musical tone color information stored in its memory, produces the appropriate output signal. Therefore, musical tones can be generated simply by moving a monitored part of the body, without the actions usually required to play an electronic musical instrument.

摘要: A musical tone control apparatus is provided with a compensation device which compensates a magnitude of detected signals output from each sensor arranged on each finger. Therefore, even though adjacent fingers are involuntarily bent when a specific finger is bent by the intention of a player, an interference which is given to the specific finger from the adjacent fingers is compensated by the compensation device, so that musical tone control signals can be generated from a control signal generation device in accordance with the bending of the specific finger without the interference caused by the adjacent fingers.

摘要: An inter-LAN connection apparatus and a method for increasing the speed of communication and to expand the network. The inter-LAN connection apparatus has a plurality of ports corresponding to a plurality of LANs, respectively, and a common unit that is commonly connected to the ports. Each of the ports receives a frame supplied from the corresponding LAN, aborts the frame when the destination picked up from the received frame exists in the LAN that is the source of transmission, transfers the frame to the common unit when the destination exists in the LAN different from the LAN that is the source of transmission, and sends the frame transferred from the common unit to the LAN via a corresponding port.
