    摘要: An audience interaction device is provided in the form factor of a glove. The glove can include a light emitting circuit including a series of lights disposed long finger receptacles of the glove. The light emitting circuit includes a series of lights, a portable power source, a switch, and wires providing electrical communication between the components. The circuit can include controls to provide a steady light output, a flashing output, a sequencing output, etc. The lights can be of a single color or multi colored. Chemiluminescence's can also be used for producing light. The device can include a noise generating device disposed upon a palm section of the glove. The noise generating device can be a mechanical device or an electrically drive noise generating apparatus. The electrically driven apparatus can be continuous, time based, or based upon proximity to an opposing glove.

    摘要: An electronic image visualization system, such as a music stand system and display are presented. The electronic music stand system is comprised of a performer subsystem comprising a processing subsystem, librarian logic, performance logic, and communications management logic. The user input apparatus and the display apparatus can be integrated into a touch-screen input display. In a preferred embodiment, the librarian logic, the performance logic and the communications management logic are defined by program data stored in the data storage apparatus, and the processor is responsive to the program data for managing data formatting, displaying music, and management of communications of data with the external apparatus. In one embodiment, two Performer subsystems are operable alternatively as one of a single appliance as a linked set a linked mode and as two independent appliances a stand-alone mode, wherein in the linked mode each of the two Performer subsystems operate cooperatively with each other as a linked set to provide a two page display on the video presentation, and wherein in the stand alone mode each of the two Performer subsystems operates independently.     摘要: An electronic image visualization system, such as a music stand system and display, management and communications methodologies relating thereto are presented. The electronic music stand system is comprised of a performer subsystem comprising a processing subsystem, librarian logic, performance logic, and communications management logic. The communications management logic provides management of communication via the communications interface with external apparatus responsive to the performance logic and the librarian logic. The user input apparatus and the display apparatus can be integrated into a touch-screen input display. The user input apparatus can alternatively be at least one of a touch-tablet, a stylus-based writing tablet, a mouse, a keyboard, a joystick, a game controller, and a switch. In a preferred embodiment, the librarian logic, the performance logic and the communications management logic are defined by program data stored in the data storage apparatus, and the processor is responsive to the program data for managing data formatting, displaying music, and management of communications of data with the external apparatus. In one embodiment, two Performer subsystems are operable alternatively as one of a single appliance as a linked set a linked mode and as two independent appliances a stand-alone mode, wherein in the linked mode each of the two Performer subsystems operate cooperatively with each other as a linked set to provide a two page display on the video presentation, and wherein in the stand alone mode each of the two Performer subsystems operates independently and mutually exclusive of the other to provide two independent and mutually exclusive single page displays on the video presentation.     摘要: A system and method of enhancing guitar instruction based on Tablature Plus encoding of playing techniques within a MIDI file or other data structure, that may be rendered on an associated player application that provides multimedia output of the piece being played including a number of playing techniques. The system hardware for encoding the information comprises a pickup head for registering string motion, and optionally a hand motion and finger positioning sensor, such as a data glove, for simultaneously registering the actions of the guitarist while playing the piece. The software comprises algorithms for determining note pitch and duration, and for extracting playing techniques from the data being collected. Multimedia player software is also described which renders a visual and audio output for the Tablature Plus encoded file, wherein the encoded playing techniques are represented within the display output.

    摘要: A tone generating glove includes switches and a tone generating circuit. The switches are connected to the tone generating circuit, and both the switches and the tone generating circuit are mounted in the glove. The tone generating circuit produces a tone or tones in response to the actuation of one or more of the switches. Preferably, a switch is positioned at each finger joint of the glove. The tone generating glove may also include a transmitter for transmitting the tone or tones that are produced to an AM or FM receiver. Each switch may include a flexible insulating sheet having upper and lower surfaces and an opening formed through its thickness. Flexible and electrically conductive first and second outer laminas are respectively attached to the upper and lower surfaces of the insulating sheet. They are positioned on the surfaces of the insulating sheet so as to bridge the opening in it. The first and second outer laminas are dimensioned to be at least partially received by the opening when the switch is flexed. Each switch may also include a bulbous insulating pad disposed on the underside of the second outer lamina and aligned with the opening in the insulating sheet.
