    摘要: A recording sheet conveyor apparatus is incorporated in an image recording apparatus having a recording sheet housing to house recording sheets, an information recording device to record image information on the moving recording sheet that has been drawn out of the recording sheet housing, and a sheet receiving device to receive the discharged recording sheet after image information has been recorded to them. The conveyor apparatus includes a conveyor path between the recording sheet housing and the sheet receiving device, a main roller for feeding a recording sheet at a predetermined speed, a feed roller for feeding the recording sheet in the direction of the main roller, a discharge roller for feeding a recording sheet to the sheet receiving device after recording has been performed for it, and a roller drive prohibit device to prohibit at least one of the feed rollers and the discharge roller in the range of the recording sheet fed by the main roller from being driven while the information recording device is performing recording.

    摘要: A corona charger includes a case provided in the vicinity of a device to be charged. The case includes an opening facing the device, a discharge electrode, a first charging region, and a second charging region. The discharge electrode provided inside the case and supplied with a voltage so as to generate a corona discharge charges a surface of the device from the opening by supplying the corona discharge to the surface. The first charging region includes no grid electrode at a position upstream of the opening in a surface moving direction of the device. The second charging region includes a grid electrode to which a predetermined voltage is applied at a position downstream of the opening. The voltage applied to the discharge electrode is an alternating current (AC) voltage superimposed on a direct current (DC) voltage.

    摘要: A synchronizing signal generating system for a laser scanner includes a source for emitting a first laser beam for scanning and a second laser beam for synchronization of scans by the first laser beam, a polygonal mirror for causing the first laser beam to scan a medium and for causing the second laser beam to scan a grating which has bright portions and dark portions alternately arranged along a scanning direction of the second laser beam, a converging optical system for converging the second laser beam transmitted through the grating, a light receiving system for receiving the second laser beam converged by the converting optical system and for generating a synchronizing signal and a circuit for controlling the source responsive to the synchronizing signal so as to synchronize a scan timing of the first laser beam. A scan length of the second laser beam measured on the grating is set longer than a scan length of the first laser beam measured on the same plane.
