摘要： Provided is a stator of a motor which is capable of reducing a loss generated in a motor and thereby attaining a high-efficient motor, and a motor including the stator. A stator of a motor comprises a stator core including a plurality of plate members stacked together; the stator core including: a yoke of a tubular shape; and teeth each of which includes an extending portion extending inward in a radial direction of the yoke from the yoke and an increased-width portion formed at a tip end of the extending portion so as to have a greater width than the extending portion in a circumferential direction of the yoke; wherein the extending portion has a constant-width portion extending radially in a straight-line shape so as to have a constant circumferential width, a narrower portion having a smaller circumferential width than the constant-width portion, and a clamp portion for securing the plurality of plate members to each other; and wherein the clamp portion is provided in the constant-width portion.

摘要： A stator of a motor comprises a stator core including a plurality of plate members stacked together; the stator core including: a yoke of a tubular shape; and teeth each of which includes an extending portion extending inward in a radial direction of the yoke from the yoke and an increased-width portion formed at a tip end of the extending portion so as to have a greater width than the extending portion in a circumferential direction of the yoke; wherein the extending portion has a constant-width portion extending radially in a straight-line shape so as to have a constant circumferential width, a narrower portion having a circumferential width smaller than a circumferential width of the constant-width portion, and a clamp portion for securing the plurality of plate members to each other; and wherein at least a portion of the clamp portion is located in the narrower portion.

摘要： Cleaning performance of a cleaning pad for cleaning a charging wire is maintained so that the charging voltage of an image carrier by a charging wire is stabilized. A charging wire cleaning apparatus is provided with a cleaning pad for cleaning a charging wire which charges an image carrier, a slider which is a supporting body for supporting the cleaning pad, and a screw shaft which is a moving mechanism for reciprocating the slider in parallel to the charging wire. When the slider is at a predetermined position of the reciprocation range, the cleaning pad and the charging wire are separated, and the cleaning pad is adapted to be shifted with respect to the charging wire in this state.

摘要： A volume management system is provided which includes a storage device having plural logic areas, a computer which requests processes to the storage device, and a management server which communicates with the storage device and the computer. The management server includes a memory and a processor, the memory stores an area level indicative of released or unreleased, a priority level indicative of a priority for establishing a redundancy, a use status indicative of used or unused, and a state indicative of presence or absence of redundancies, for each of the logic areas of the storage device. When there is a logic area whose capacity is insufficient among the logic areas of the storage, the processor of the management server determines availability of released logic areas among the other logic areas of the storage device by referring to the area levels in the memory, when there are the released logic areas, the processor allocates capacities of the released logic areas to the logic area whose capacity is insufficient, when there are not enough capacities of the released logic areas, the processor determines availability of other unused logic areas by referring to the use statuses in the memory, when there are the other unused logic areas, the processor allocates unused capacities of each logic area to the logic area whose capacity is insufficient, and when there are not enough unused capacities of each logic area, the processor specifies other logic areas whose priority levels are below a predetermined upper-limit level of the priority level, releases redundancies of the other logic areas whose priority levels are below the predetermined upper-limit level of the priority level, and allocates released capacities of the other logic areas whose priority levels are below the predetermined upper-limit level of the priority level, to the logic area whose capacity is insufficient.

摘要： In a paper-punching device for use in an image-forming apparatus, the rear edge of a sheet of paper that is being transported through a transport guide is detected by the photosensor. After a predetermined time has passed since the detection, a punching device is activated. At this time, a punching member is depressed downward, and a punching blade attached to its top penetrates through the sheet of paper, thereby forming a punch hole. Even during the punching operation, transport rollers continue to rotate. Therefore, when the sheet of paper is caught by the punching blade, the transport rollers are allowed to slip predetermined amount with respect to the paper. For this reason, at least one of the transport rollers is made of a foamed material. With this arrangement, since the punching operation is carried out on the rear side of the sheet of paper, it becomes possible to reduce the occurrence of paper jams even if sheets of paper are transported in succession. Further, the punching operation is carried out while the paper is being transported; this makes it possible to provide a high-speed operation. Further, even if the sheet of paper is caught by the punching blade, it is not damaged because of the slip that is provided.

摘要： A toner replenishing device has a hopper for storing toner. The hopper has an L-shaped so as to have a large volume in a lateral direction, thereby ensuring that the hopper has the volume corresponding to several toner containers. The toner stored in a lower portion of the hopper is transported by toner transport devices to the vicinity of a toner supply opening provided on the tip of the hopper. The remaining amount of toner is detected by sensors that detect the amount of toner remaining in the toner replenishing device step-by-step. This results in a toner replenishing device having a large toner storage section (1) in which the aggregation of toner due to dead weight can be prevented and (2) in which the amount of toner remaining can be displayed step-by-step and the supply of toner can be carried out in advance before a shortage of toner occurs.
