摘要: A volume management system includes a management server which includes a memory and a processor, the memory stores an area level indicative of released or unreleased, a priority level indicative of a priority for establishing a redundancy, a use status indicative of used or unused, and a state indicative of presence or absence of redundancies, for each of logic areas of a storage device. When there is a logic area whose capacity is insufficient among the logic areas of the storage, the arrangement performs a number of operations to allocate capacities of other logic areas to a logic area whose capacity is insufficient.

摘要: A volume management system is provided which includes a storage device having plural logic areas, a computer which requests processes to the storage device, and a management server which communicates with the storage device and the computer. The management server includes a memory and a processor, the memory stores an area level indicative of released or unreleased, a priority level indicative of a priority for establishing a redundancy, a use status indicative of used or unused, and a state indicative of presence or absence of redundancies, for each of the logic areas of the storage device. When there is a logic area whose capacity is insufficient among the logic areas of the storage, the processor of the management server determines availability of released logic areas among the other logic areas of the storage device by referring to the area levels in the memory, when there are the released logic areas, the processor allocates capacities of the released logic areas to the logic area whose capacity is insufficient, when there are not enough capacities of the released logic areas, the processor determines availability of other unused logic areas by referring to the use statuses in the memory, when there are the other unused logic areas, the processor allocates unused capacities of each logic area to the logic area whose capacity is insufficient, and when there are not enough unused capacities of each logic area, the processor specifies other logic areas whose priority levels are below a predetermined upper-limit level of the priority level, releases redundancies of the other logic areas whose priority levels are below the predetermined upper-limit level of the priority level, and allocates released capacities of the other logic areas whose priority levels are below the predetermined upper-limit level of the priority level, to the logic area whose capacity is insufficient.

摘要: A first color value of a printing medium under a first light source which emits first light including light in an ultraviolet region and at a first temperature is obtained from either a measured data table or a measurement section. A second color value of the printing medium under the first light source and at a second temperature different from the first temperature is obtained from either the measured data table or the measurement section. A color value of the printing medium at a viewing temperature, which is different from the first and second temperatures, is estimated from the obtained first and second color values.

摘要: According to one embodiment, an image processing apparatus connected to a camera device that images a processing target includes: an image information acquisition unit; an accumulation subtraction image information creation unit; a feature amount information creation unit; and an action content identification unit. The image information acquisition unit sequentially acquires, from the camera device, image information formed by imaging the processing target thereby. Based on a temporal change of the image information acquired by the image information acquisition unit, the accumulation subtraction image information creation unit accumulates subtraction information for a predetermined period, which is made by motions of a person present in a room, and creates multivalued accumulation subtraction image information. The feature amount information creation unit creates feature amount information in the accumulation subtraction image information, which is created by the accumulation subtraction image information creation unit, from a region where there is a density gradient in the accumulation subtraction image information. The action content identification unit identifies an action content of the person present in the room from the feature amount information created by the feature amount information creation unit.

摘要: A first color patch printed on a first printing material and a second color patch printed on a second printing material, which match each other in appearance in a desired environment, are acquired. The calorimetric values of a color patch to be measured which is printed on the first printing material are corrected using the calorimetric values of the first and second color patches and a spectrophotometric calorimeter for obtaining calorimetric values in a desired environment, thereby generating effective calorimetric values.

摘要: A sheet hole-punching device includes a plurality of punch members, a base frame for slidably supporting the punch members in a hole-punching direction and rotationally supporting the punch members, and a drive member having a plurality of cam portions. Each punch member has a leading end with a hole-punching blade. Each cam portion engages each punch member to move the punch member in the hole-punching direction. A plurality of cam devices is also formed in the sheet hole-punching device. Each cam device is disposed between the base frame and each punch member for converting a hole-punching direction movement of the punch member into a rotational movement so as to rotate the punch member while moving in the hole-punching direction.

摘要: Provided is a method for producing a frozen soft vegetable food material which is suitable as a food for the aged, whose original shape is not damaged even in the circulation process, which has uniform softness even in the interior thereof and which can maintain its original shape. The method comprises steps of: (1) a step for freezing a vegetable food ingredient and then thawing the food ingredient to thus form a thawed food ingredient; (2) a step for immersing the thawed food ingredient in a dispersion containing a pectin-decomposition enzyme or a cellulose-decomposition enzyme under reduced pressure to form an enzyme-processed vegetable food ingredient; (3) a step for removing the enzyme-processed vegetable food ingredient from the enzyme-containing dispersion; (4) a step for subjecting the enzyme-processed vegetable food ingredient separated in the preceding step to a low temperature processing carried out at a temperature ranging from 0 to 10° C. for 8 to 24 hours to thus prepare a low temperature-processed vegetable food ingredient; (5) a step for heating the low temperature-processed vegetable food ingredient at a temperature and for a time sufficient to inactivate the foregoing pectin-decomposition enzyme or the cellulose-decomposition enzyme; and (6) a step for freezing the heat-treated vegetable food ingredient. Moreover, the thawing treatment in the foregoing step (1) may be carried out simultaneously with the enzyme-impregnation treatment carried out under reduced pressure in the subsequent step.
