    摘要: An optical disk drive for recording information on a recording surface of an optical disk and reading information recorded in the optical disk is provided. The optical disk drive includes a spindle to rotate the optical disk and a carriage movable in parallel with a tracking direction of the optical disk. The carriage includes a laser light source to emit laser light, a collimator lens to convert divergent light into parallel light and is arranged with an optical center thereof being in a farther and offset position with respect to an optical axis of the laser light, a reflecting mirror to receive and deflect the laser light transmitted through the collimator lens in a direction perpendicular to the recording surface of the optical disk, and an objective lens to converge the laser light deflected by the reflecting mirror on a position corresponding to the recording surface of the optical disk.

    摘要: An optical disc drive includes an optical head having a stationary portion and a movable portion. The movable portion supports an objective lens for converging a beam emitted from the stationary portion on an optical disc. The movable portion moves radially across an optical disc in order to irradiate the beam on a desired track of the optical disc. The optical disc drive is further provided with an aberration correcting lens that corrects aberration caused by the objective lens. The aberration correcting lens is mounted on the movable portion so as to be movable in a direction substantially orthogonal to a movable direction of the movable portion, which may parallel or perpendicular to the optical disc. The aberration correcting lens is moved in accordance with a variation of the aberration caused by the objective lens.

    摘要: Disclosed is an optical disc drive for reading/writing data from/on an optical disc. The disc drive is provided with a laser source, an objective lens system, a deflection mirror between the laser source and the objective lens system. An incident angle of the laser beam incident on the objective lens system is changed by rotating the deflection mirror. Further, a relay lens system is provided between the deflection mirror and the objective lens system. A diffraction grating is provided between the laser source and the deflection mirror. The diffraction grating divides an incident beam into at least 0th order beam and ±1st order diffraction beams having predetermined diffraction angles. Further provided is a detecting system that receives the ±1st order diffraction beams deflected by the deflection mirror and determines a rotational position of the deflection mirror in accordance with the received ±1st order diffraction beams.

The spring member swing the shutters closed when they are swingedly displaced from a neutral position. Regulating members control the range of the swingable shutters, and positions end portions of the shutters to guide an inserted disk cartridge to a waiting carriage for transporting the disk cartridge within the drive.

    摘要: A head unit control device comprising an optical head unit for radiating a laser beam onto a magneto-optical disc, a magnetic head unit including a floating magnetic head and a fixed magnetic head. Luminous flux is radiated onto the magnetic head unit and the optical head unit. The luminous flux reflected by these units is sensed by photo detectors, so that a relative position error signal is generated by a sensing circuit. When information is overwritten onto the magneto-optical disc on which information has been already recorded, the floating magnetic head is moved in synchronization with the optical head, based on the relative position error signal. When information is recorded on the magneto-optical disc on which information has not been recorded, the fixed magnetic head is moved in synchronization with the optical head, based on the relative position error signal.

    摘要: A magneto-optical disk drive system is provided with a housing and a disk cartridge for housing a magneto-optical disk therein. The disk cartridge is insertable into the housing, an optical head is disposed in the housing for movement in a first radial direction of the magneto-optical disk on one side thereof. A magnetic head is disposed in the housing for movement in a second radial direction of the magneto-optical disk on an opposite side thereof, and a position sensor is coupled to the optical and magnetic heads, for detecting the relative position of the optical and magnetic heads. A first position adjuster disposed in the housing for aligning the first and second radial directions with each other, second position adjuster disposed in the housing for positionally aligning the optical head and the magnetic head with each other across the first and second radial directions, and third position adjuster is disposed in the housing for positionally adjusting the position sensor with respect to the optical head and the magnetic head along the first and second radial directions.
