Abstract: A resource indication method and apparatus are provided, to implement resource indication in a case in which a distributed unit (DU) has a plurality of cells. The method includes: a first node receives indication information from a second node, where the indication information is used to indicate availability of a dynamic resource in first resources corresponding to P cells, the first resource is a transmission resource used by the first node to communicate with a third node, the second node is an upper-level node of the first node, and the third node is a lower-level node of the first node. The first node determines the availability of the dynamic resource in the first resources of the P cells based on the indication information, where 1≤P≤N.

Abstract: This application provides a symbol processing method and related apparatus. The method includes: dividing a plurality of obtained complex-valued symbols into a plurality of sets, where each set corresponds to one transmit symbol, and the plurality of sets include a first set corresponding to a first transmit symbol; and mapping a first sequence and a second sequence to the first set, where an end position of the first sequence is a position of intercepting a cyclic prefix (CP) in the first transmit symbol, and an end position of the second sequence is an end position of the first transmit symbol. By mapping the sequences to the sets, an original cyclic prefix (CP) can be extended using a sequence with a flexible length, and flexible guard periods of different lengths can be configured for different users by adjusting the length of the sequences.

Abstract: This application discloses a signal transmission method, including: obtaining, by a terminal device, to-be-transmitted data, uplink control information, and a demodulation reference signal; mapping the to-be-transmitted data, the uplink control information, and the demodulation reference signal to generate multiplexed symbols. The multiplexed symbols include DFT-s-OFDM symbols or OFDM symbols. N first multiplexed symbols are located on one side or two sides of a second multiplexed symbol. A location relationship between each of the N first multiplexed symbols and the second multiplexed symbol satisfies a mapping condition. N is an integer greater than or equal to 1. The first multiplexed symbol is a multiplexed symbol to which the uplink control information is mapped, and the second multiplexed symbol is a multiplexed symbol to which the demodulation reference signal is mapped.

Abstract: A PTRS processing method includes: receiving, by a terminal, first indication information and second indication information from a network device, where the first indication information is used to indicate a time-domain location at which a PTRS is to be sent by the terminal, and the second indication information is used to indicate an offset of an initial time-domain location to which the PTRS is mapped by the terminal; mapping, by the terminal, the PTRS to one or more DFT-s-OFDM symbols based on the first indication information and the second indication information; and sending, by the terminal, the one or more DFT-s-OFDM symbols. In this way, the PTRS mapped to the DFT-s-OFDM symbol is offset at a DFT-s-OFDM symbol level.
