    Abstract: Disclosed are methods, devices, and computer readable storage mediums for encoding and decoding messages for fast link adaptation. In one aspect, a method of a high efficiency (HE) station (STA) (HE STA) includes encoding an aggregated control subfield of a high throughput (HT) Control field to signal one or more of: a request to use dual carrier modulation (DCM), a request to use a particular resource unit, an uplink (UL) power headroom indication, and an indication that the HE STA is using a minimum transmit power for a current modulation and coding scheme (MCS). The method also includes configuring the HE STA to transmit a HE-PPDU including the HT control field.

    Abstract: A device is disclosed that may identify a frame received from an access point. The device may cause to buffer the payload field. The device may determine that a first payload, in a first payload field, corresponds to a multiband link aggregation (MBLA) Ethertype based at least in part on a logical link layer controller (LLC) field and a subnetwork access protocol (SNAP) Ethertype MBLA field in the first payload, wherein the first payload is within the payload field. The device may cause to remove a LLC MBLA header field from the first payload field. The device may cause to buffer a packet in a reordering queue, wherein the packet is in a second payload field that is in the first payload field. The device may order the packet among a plurality of packets in the reordering queue.

    Abstract: Computer readable media, methods, and apparatuses for flow control with acknowledgment feedback. An apparatus of a wireless device comprising: memory; and processing circuitry coupled to the memory is disclosed. The processing circuity may be configured to determine based on buffer capacity parameters of a station and a receive buffer state of the station at least one of a size, a modulation and coding scheme (MCS), a bandwidth of a subchannel, or a number of spatial streams (NSS) for a frame. The processing circuitry may be further configured to encode the frame based on the size, the MCS, the bandwidth of the subchannel, and the NSS. The processing circuitry may be further configured to configure the wireless device to transmit the frame in accordance with the size, the MCS, the bandwidth of the subchannel, the NSS, and one or both of orthogonal frequency division multiple-access (OFDMA) or multi-user multiple-input multiple-output (MU-MIMO).

    Abstract: Apparatuses, methods, and computer readable media are disclosed for fragmentation of media access control service data units (MSDU) in a high-efficiency wireless local-area network. An apparatus of a access point or station comprising memory and processing circuitry coupled to the memory is disclosed. The processing circuitry is configured to fragment a media access control (MAC) service data unit (MSDU) into two or more MSDU fragments, and encapsulate the two or more MSDU fragments into two or more aggregated MSDUs (A-MSDUs); one or more A-MSDUs and one or more MAC protocol data units (MPDUs); or, two or more MPDUs. The processing circuitry may be further configured to encode a delimiter in front of a first fragment of the two or more MSDU fragments, where the delimiter indicates a length of the two or more MSDU fragments, and to encode each MPDU to comprise a sequence number.
