    摘要: In one aspect, the invention provides a residual current device (RCD) for protecting a circuit by tripping in response to an imbalance signal representative of residual current imbalance in the circuit. The RCD trips the circuit when the imbalance signal exceeds a predetermined threshold rating. The RCD comprises test means for increasing the imbalance signal so as to test operation of the RCD against the rating. In another aspect the RCD comprises: a current transformer for generating an imbalance sense current in a sense coil in response to a current imbalance in an electrical supply; and a degaussing coil for substantially removing remanence in the current transformer by application of a degaussing signal to the degaussing coil.

An SGSN (260) in an Integrated Network Contoroller (240) in a UMTS network and a RADIUS server (270) are adapted to support signalling therebetween whereby authentication of a USIM is performed in the RADIUS Server. This allows a conventional Authorisation Centre (AuC) to replaced by the RADIUS Server, and it is substantially cheaper, because it is based largely on existing off-the-shelf Internet access authentication technology, modified to this purpose.

    摘要: An automated bulk dispensing system and a method of use including selectively receiving a predetermined amount of radioactive liquid from a second container into a third container, selectively receiving a predetermined amount of nonradioactive liquid from a first container into a fourth container or directly into the third container depending on whether kits or multi-dose containers of medicine are desired. Preferably, this is for nuclear pharmaceuticals. Displacement mechanisms that are connected to the third container and fourth container are for mixing and dispensing liquid. There is at least one control valve, preferably three control valves, which are each controlled by drive mechanisms. The mixed liquid from the third container can be transferred to a recipient container. There is also a gas vent and bubble detector to eliminate bubbles with a processor that is also utilized to control the displacement mechanisms and the drive mechanisms.

    摘要: A folding antenna for use in a satellite communication system comprises a box having a base (1) which forms the supporting structure for the antenna. A main reflector (16) is mounted on a platform (11) to which it is pivotted about a first axis (14). A sub-reflector (26) is pivotted to the main reflector about a second axis (21). By pivotting the sub-reflector and the main reflector downwardly they can be stowed into a position close to the base (1) and the lids (8) of the box closed to protect the system during transportation.
