摘要: A system and method for generating white light involves using a combination of phosphor-converted white LEDs and non-phosphor-converted color LEDs to produce white light and adjusting the emitted light in response to feedback signals. Generating white light using a combination of phosphor-converted white LEDs and non-phosphor-converted color LEDs produces white light with an improved CRI and a wide SPD. Adjusting the emitted light in response to feedback allows luminance and chrominance characteristics of the white light to be controlled as the performance of the LEDs changes over time. The emitted light can be adjusted on a per-color basis and/or on a per-group basis, where a group of LEDs includes a combination of at least one phosphor-converted white LED and at least one non-phosphor-converted color LED.

摘要: An organic electro luminescence device is presented in which ink forming an organic electro luminescent layer is prevented from overflowing edges of a pixel region. The organic electro luminescent device includes first and second substrates and sub-pixels in the first and second substrates. An array element includes a thin film transistor formed on the first substrate in each sub-pixel. A first electrode is formed at an inner surface of the second substrate. A buffer is formed at an outer region to partition each sub-pixel formed on the first electrode. A first electrode separator is formed on the buffer and a second electrode separator is formed in a region including a stepped portion of the buffer. An organic electro luminescent layer is formed within a region partitioned by the second electrode separator. A second electrode is formed on the second substrate where the organic electro luminescent layer is formed.

摘要: In one embodiment, a user-selected color point is received. RGB tristimulus values are then derived for the color point. It is also determined whether the user-selected color point is outside a color selection range of the LED light source and, if so, an error flag is set. Pulse width modulated signals for a plurality of LED drivers for the LED light source are also generated. In another embodiment, tristimulus values representing a color of light produced by an LED light source are received. The received tristimulus values are then compared to tristimulus values corresponding to a user-identified color point. In response to the comparison, pulse width modulated signals are generated for a plurality of LED drivers for the LED light source. After a predetermined number of repetitions of these actions, an error flag is set if the user-selected color point has not been achieved by the LED light source.

摘要: A connector axial compression tool having a lever end and a cable end, with a body slidably supporting a cradle in a cavity formed in the body. The cradle is slidable via a handle which pivots about the body, linked to the cradle by a lever mechanism. The cradle has a shoulder clamp adapted to mate with a connector body. Operation of the handle moves the cradle towards and away from a cable end of the cavity, against a cable clamp through which the cable may pass but against which a cable clamp sleeve of the connector abuts, axially compressing the connector to couple it to the cable. Because the shoulder clamp holds the connector body rather than pressing against the connector interface, a wide range of different connectors may be used with the same tool, without causing damage to the connector interface of the various connectors.

摘要: Light is generated in accordance with a desired spectral power distribution curve. A spectrum of light is generated with a plurality of different light sources. An optical measurement device measures the spectrum of light generated by the plurality of different light sources. The optical measurement device is able to detect light within the entire spectrum of light generated by the plurality of different light sources. The measured spectrum of light is used as feedback to vary the spectrum of light generated with the plurality of different light sources to approximate the desired spectral power distribution curve.

摘要: The present invention includes a light source having N light generators, a receiver, and an interface circuit. Each light generator emitting light of a different wavelength, the intensity of light generated by the kth generator is determined by a signal Ik coupled to that light generator. The receiver receives a color coordinate that includes N color components, Ck, for k=1 to N, wherein N is greater than 1. The interface circuit generates the Ik for k=1 to N from the received color components and a plurality of calibration parameters. The calibration parameters depend on manufacturing variations in the light generators. The calibration parameters have values chosen such that a light signal generated by combining the light emitted from each of the light generators is less dependent on the manufacturing variations in the light generators than a light signal generated when Ik is proportional to Ck for k=1 to N.

摘要: An electrical connector adapted for interconnection with a helically corrugated outer conductor coaxial cable via axial compression. Threads formed in an interior bore of the connector body threadably engage helical corrugations of the outer conductor. Upon axial compression of an interface into an interference fit with the body, a leading edge of the outer conductor is deformed, creating a high quality uniform electrical interconnection and preventing unthreading of the cable from the connector. Gaskets environmentally sealing the various entry paths into the connector are also sealably compressed by the axial movement of the various connector components during axial compression.
