摘要： A process for producing a plastic lens having a high refractive index and profile regularity which includes forming a mixture of one or more of sulfur-containing aromatic polyisocyanate compounds, one or more of active hydrogen compounds selected from the group consisting of polyol compounds and polythiol compounds, and at least one internal mold releasing agent. Then subjecting the resulting mixture to casting polymerization, to form the plastic lens.

摘要： Polyurethane base lens resins obtained by reacting one or more of sulfur-containing polyisocyanates compound with one or more of sulfur-containing polyols, and polyurethane base lenses comprising these resins are disclosed.A method for preparing polyurethane base lenses which comprises adding internal mold releasing agents to the mixture of the above polyisocyanates and polyols prior to casting polymerization is also disclosed.

摘要： An endoscope shape detecting system displays an endoscope image and an insertion form image simultaneously on a display means. A first memory stores an endoscope image and a second memory stores an insertion form image. A control device controls a switching action such that the insertion form image is output to the display means during a period wherein the output of the endoscope image to the display means is turned off and stored in the first memory means, and that the output of the insertion form image to the display means is turned off and stored in the second memory during the period wherein the output of the endoscope image to the display is turned on. In addition, a control device is provided that controls the storing action such that a first period for storing endoscope images in the first memory and a second period for storing output signals from a magnetic field detecting device in the second memory do not overlap.

摘要： A composition for optical materials is herein disclosed which comprises the following two components (a) and (b):(a) a component containing at least one of poly isocyanates represented by the formula (1)A.paren open-st.S--B--NCO).sub.n (1)wherein A is an alkanediyl group or an alkanetetrayl group which may contain a sulfur atom, or a dithianetetrayl group, and the alkanediyl group or the alkanetetrayl group may be substituted by a phenyl group; B is a methylene chain represented by .paren open-st.CH.sub.2 .paren close-st..sub.m (m is an integer of 1 to 4) which may contain a sulfur atom, and B's may be the same or different; and n is an integer of 2 or 4, and(b) a component containing at least one of polythiols having two or more mercapto groups. The composition is useful to provide optical products such as plastic lenses, filters, substrates for recording media and optical fibers which have a very high refractive index and which are excellent in heat resistance.
