摘要: Disclosed herein is a display device, including: a display surface; a display functional layer adapted to control the display of a screen viewed from outside the display surface; a drive control section operable to perform display scanning and driving adapted to scan and drive, in the one direction, the plurality of drive electrodes, and also operable to perform, a plurality of times and for M display screens, detection scanning and driving adapted to continuously scan and drive all or part of the plurality of drive electrodes within the period of time; and a plurality of sensor lines arranged in a direction other than the one direction to be separate from each other, which produce an electrical change if an object to be detected comes in contact with or proximity to the display surface while the drive control section performs the detection scanning and driving.

摘要: A display includes: display pixel electrodes; common electrodes; a display layer; a display control circuit; touch detection electrodes; and a touch detection circuit detecting an external proximity object based on a detection signal obtained from the touch detection electrodes with use of a common drive voltage for display applied to the common electrode as a touch sensor drive signal. The touch detection circuit includes: a first filter allowing a fundamental detection signal, contained in the detection signal and having a frequency same as a fundamental frequency of the touch sensor drive signal, to pass therethrough, a plurality of second filters separately allowing two or more harmonic detection signals, contained in the detection signal and having frequencies same as respective harmonic frequencies of the touch sensor drive signal, to pass therethrough, and a detection section performing a detection operation based on the fundamental detection signal and the harmonic detection signals.

摘要: A print data generation apparatus includes a pattern data registration unit, a pattern data conversion unit and an image conversion unit. The pattern data registration unit registers pattern data corresponding to a print image readable by an electronic pen printed on a recording medium. The image conversion unit converts the pattern data converted by the pattern data conversion unit into drawing data of the print image.

摘要: A display device with a touch detection function includes: a plurality of liquid crystal display elements performing display operation; a plurality of touch detection electrodes arranged side by side to extend in one direction, and each outputting a detection signal based on a change in an electrostatic capacitance caused by an external proximity object; a conductive film insulated from or connected with high resistance to the touch detection electrodes, and disposed to cover the touch detection electrodes; and a touch detection circuit detecting the external proximity object by sampling the detection signal. The conductive film has a sheet resistance equal to or smaller than a predetermined resistance value, and has a time constant larger than a predetermined minimum time constant defined by sampling timings in the touch detection circuit.

摘要: An information input device includes a touch panel configured to be provided with a touch sensor that detects a position at which a sensing object is brought close to a sensing surface. In this information input device, the touch sensor has a scanning electrode and a detecting electrode that is opposed to the scanning electrode with the intermediary of a dielectric substance, and is a capacitive sensor whose electrostatic capacitance changes if the sensing object is brought close to the detecting electrode. Furthermore, a slit is formed in a surface of the detecting electrode opposed to the scanning electrode.

摘要: When multiple pages of a document are condensed and printed on a single sheet of printing media, an image data generator condenses the page image data by a prescribed reduction ratio. A sequence information overlayer overlays layout sequence information such as numerals or arrows, or borders or shading of different densities or colors, on the condensed image data. A recording device prints the condensed image data and overlaid sequence information on the single sheet of printing media. The reader of the condensed document recognizes the condensed page sequence from the overlaid sequence information, and can therefore always tell which page to read next. A print sample image of the single sheet preferably includes a sequence line graphically illustrating the page layout sequence.
