摘要: A developing apparatus prevents or reduces splashing of toner and carrier caused by abnormal outward airflows generated at downstream positions of a developing unit casing thereof through interactions between behaviors of magnetic brushes and local portions of the developing unit casing. The developing apparatus includes a developer carrying member, a first permanent magnet, a developing unit casing, a second permanent magnet, which is built in the developer carrying member at a fixed position at the downstream side from the first permanent magnet with respect to the rotational direction of the developer carrying member. The developing unit casing has a concave structure to form a low pressure area at a position facing the second permanent magnet. The low pressure area suppresses an increase in the speed of the airflow therein that causes the abnormal outward airflows.

摘要: An air conditioner according to the present invention prevents freezing of an outdoor heat exchanger in heating operation. A refrigeration cycle is formed by sequentially connecting a compressor 1, a four-way valve 2, an indoor heat exchanger 3, a pressure reducing device 4, and an outdoor heat exchanger 5. In the refrigeration cycle, a high-temperature and high-pressure refrigerant compressed by the compressor 1 flows through a receiver tank 6 before supplied for indoor heating. The receiver tank 6 is placed in the outdoor heat exchanger 5, and thus heat from the receiver tank 6 through which the high-temperature and high-pressure refrigerant flows can be used to prevent freezing of a fin or a tube 10 in the outdoor heat exchanger 5, thereby ensuring heating performance.

摘要: An image forming apparatus includes an image forming mechanism, a transfer mechanism, a fixing mechanism, and a heat radiation mechanism. The image forming mechanism forms a toner image which is transferred by the transfer mechanism transfers onto a recording sheet and is fixed by the fixing mechanism. The heat radiation mechanism is disposed between the image forming and fixing mechanisms and radiates heat generated by the fixing mechanism. The heat radiation mechanism includes a heat receiving member, a heat radiating member, and a heat conduction member. The heat receiving member receives heat generated by the fixing mechanism. The heat radiating member radiates the heat received by the heat receiving member. The heat conduction member has a thermal conductive property to efficiently conduct the heat from the heat receiving member to the heat radiating member.

摘要: The engine control system for a hybrid vehicle, according to the present invention, having an internal combustion engine and an electric motor as driving force sources, comprises: a clutch, provided between the engine and a transmission system, for disabling and enabling driving force transmission between the engine and the transmission system; clutch disengagement detector for detecting engagement/disengagement of the clutch; engine speed detector for detecting an engine speed; and fuel cutter for permitting stopping and restarting of the engine in accordance with at least a result of detection by the clutch disengagement detector among predetermined drive conditions, and cutting fuel supply to the engine when the vehicle decelerates, a fuel-supply restart engine speed at which fuel supply is resumed being set in the fuel cutter. Stopping the engine is accomplished by cutting fuel supply by the fuel cutter, and once the engine stop is initiated, even when the engine speed reaches the fuel-supply restart engine speed, fuel supply cut by the fuel cutter is maintained, and when the engine speed detected by the engine speed detector at a time of disengagement of the clutch is detected by the clutch disengagement detector is equal to or lower than a predetermined engine speed, fuel supply cut by the fuel cutter is maintained whereas when the detected engine speed is higher than the predetermined engine speed, fuel supply is restarted.

摘要: The control system of the present invention is provided for a hybrid vehicle with an engine, a motor, and a power storage unit. The control system selects one of an air intake passage pressure assist mode (PB assist mode) corresponding to a partial load range of the engine and a throttle assist mode corresponding to the opening state of a throttle. The control system comprises: an assist mode determining device for determining whether the vehicle is in the PB assist mode or in the throttle assist mode, based on the opening state of a throttle; a PB assist amount determining device for determining a base assist amount in the PB assist mode, based on the rotational speed of the engine and an air intake passage pressure (PB); a throttle assist amount determining device for determining the base assist amount in the throttle assist mode, based on the rotational speed of the engine, the base assist amount including a range defined by an upper threshold value and a lower threshold value; and a throttle assist amount changer for gradually changing the assist amount determined by the throttle assist amount determining device between the upper threshold value and the lower threshold value when the vehicle runs through a partial load range to a full load range of the engine.
