摘要: According to one embodiment, a temperature control device stores a fixing device temperature estimation value and a storage time obtained by WAE control in a memory at any time during operation. After an electric power supply to the temperature control device is stopped, the next time the electric power supply is started, an electric power supply stop period until the electric power supply is started is calculated. If the electric power supply stop period is shorter than a set time, the WAE control is started by using the stored fixing device temperature estimation value, and if the electric power supply stop period exceeds the set time, the WAE control is started based on an initial set value.

摘要: An image forming apparatus includes an image forming unit, a fixing unit, a sheet discharge unit to stack sheets, an acquisition unit, and a controller. The fixing unit fixes a toner image formed on a sheet by the image forming unit. The acquisition unit acquires information corresponding to a maximum toner application amount per unit area of the formed toner image. The controller controls the number of image formations on the sheets per unit time based on the acquired information. The controller executes a first job with a first number of image formations on the sheets per unit time during a period from an Lth sheet to an Mth sheet in the first job, and executes a second job with a second and smaller number of image formations on the sheets per unit time during the period from the Lth to the Mth sheet in the second job.

The image forming apparatus has a reading portion configured to read the type of the thermal characteristic information stored in the storage element, and a control portion switches a thermal fixing condition to control the fixing portion in accordance with a combination of the types of the thermal characteristic information that has been read by the reading portion.

The human sensor detects a person in the vicinity of the image processing apparatus. The fixing device carries out fixation of an image formed with a decolorable recording agent serving as a recording agent containing a coloring agent which is decolored through heating on a medium and decoloration of the image formed on the medium. The controller controls the fixing device to stop the decoloration of the image when the person is detected by the human sensor.

The toner cleaning sheet can be produced by a method that includes at least one type of fiber selected from among different thermoplastic fibers formed of thermoplastic resin with a melting point of 265° C. or more and at least one type of fiber selected from among different cellulose fibers, the method including a bonding step in which at least part of the aforementioned thermoplastic fiber is fusion-bonded to neighboring thermoplastic fiber filaments.

A roller body molding surface, a cavity being defined between the axial core member and the roller body molding surface when the mold is clamped; and recessed portions which are located at both end portions of the supporting portions and extend along the parting surfaces, and which are not in contact with the outer peripheral surface of the axial core member when the mold is clamped.
