摘要: Disclosed is a downshift control method for a hybrid DCT vehicle. The method includes: determining, by a controller, whether a downshift is desired while a vehicle travels on a slope having equal to or more than a predetermined reference gradient; comparing, by the controller, a motor speed with a desired shift stage input shaft speed, and selectively performing either a forward control step of increasing a motor torque in a forward direction to increase the motor speed in the forward direction or a negative control step of increasing the motor torque in a negative direction to increase the motor speed in the negative direction. Thus, it is possible to reduce the backward sliding of the vehicle by suppressing the motor speed from unnecessarily increasing and rapidly finishing the downshift.

摘要: A method for operating a motor vehicle originates from a condition in which a torque converter lockup clutch (6) or a master clutch (13) is engaged and the transmission (2) is friction-locking. The torque converter lockup clutch (6) or the master clutch (13) is then brought into a slip condition on a control side, and a prime-mover rotational speed is decoupled from a driven-end rotational speed. The torque converter lockup clutch (6) or the master clutch (13) is brought into the slip condition without reducing a pressure control of the torque converter lockup clutch (6) or the master clutch (13) and by specifying a target rotational speed or a target torque for the prime mover (1) such that a torque or a target torque is greater than a power transmission capacity of the torque converter lockup clutch (6) or the master clutch (13) and slip is built up.

In the hybrid vehicle an oil pump can be driven while stopping an engine without a device for interrupting torque transmission between a power split device and the engine. A differential mechanism includes a first rotary element to which torque is delivered from the engine, a second rotary element connected to drive wheels, and a third rotary element to which torque is delivered from the first motor. Torque transmission between the first motor and the third rotary element is interrupted by a clutch. A mechanical oil pump is driven by any one of the first input shaft and the second input shaft that is rotated higher than the other one.

摘要: A hybrid vehicle powertrain assembly includes a combustion engine, an electric machine, an input shaft, a ratchet mechanism, and a controller. The input shaft selectively couples the engine and electric machine. The ratchet mechanism includes a base integrated with a transmission housing, a camwheel fixedly coupled to the input shaft, a pawl, and an actuator to move the pawl. The controller is programmed to, in response to receipt of an engine brake command, output an engagement command to the actuator to move the pawl toward the camwheel for engagement to prevent the input shaft from spinning. A method for controlling a hybrid vehicle powertrain is also provided herein. The method includes, responsive to receipt of an engine brake command, outputting via a controller a command for a ratchet mechanism to engage an input shaft coupled to an engine to prevent the input shaft from spinning.

摘要: Methods and systems are provided for controlling clutch capacity in a hybrid electric vehicle. In one example, a method includes adjusting values of a transfer function of a clutch of a dual clutch transmission in response to an operating condition of an engine and/or operating condition of an integrated starter/generator coupled to the engine while a vehicle is propelled via an electric machine coupled to the dual clutch transmission, and maintaining a driver demand wheel torque at vehicle wheels via adjusting torque of the electric machine in response to the operating condition of the engine and/or operating condition of the integrated starter generator. In this way the method may apply pressure to one of the clutches where engine speed is independently controlled to maintain positive or negative slip, thus enabling adaptation of positive and negative clutch transfer functions, which may improve driveline operation and shift quality.

The torque converter bypass clutch is disposed between the electric machine and the drive wheel. The controller is programmed to, in response to a negative drive wheel torque command during a regenerative braking event, adjust a closed-state torque capacity of the torque converter bypass clutch based on the torque command.

摘要: An energy management control device for a hybrid vehicle has an energy management controller that suppresses an occurrence of a condition in which an EV start is not possible due to insufficient battery charge capacity when an engagement clutch fails. When the energy management controller has determined that one of the engagement clutches has failed that is used to carry out an EV start using a first motor generator as a drive source that receives electrical power from a high-power battery when starting the vehicle, energy management maps are used in energy management control, which have a usage SOC range that is broader than the usage SOC range of the normal energy management map, which is used during normal operation.
