摘要: A cell which has become inactive is detected in a multi-cell battery (15) comprising plural cells (Cn). An inactivity detecting circuit comprising a signal generator (Dn1) and a diode (Dn2) connected in series, is connected in parallel with the cell (Cn) When the cell becomes inactive, the signal generator (Dn1) emits a signal to indicate the state of the cell. Hence, it is possible to economically detect loss of cell activity.

摘要: Disclosed is a battery having an improved life. Specifically disclosed is a battery which comprises an electric power generating element in which one or more unit cell layers are stacked, each being constituted by sequentially laminating or stacking a positive electrode, an electrolyte and a negative electrode; a first collector plate which is provided on the outermost positive electrode surface of the electric power generating element; a second collector plate which is provided on the outermost negative electrode surface of the electric power generating element; a convex or protruding portion provided on the first collector plate and/or the second collector plate with a width that is not less than a half of the width of the end edge of the collector plate; and a terminal which is attached to the convex portion for retrieving electric current from the convex portion.

摘要: A negative electrode for a secondary battery according to the present invention has a collector and a negative electrode active material layer formed on a surface of the collector and containing negative electrode active material particles. In the negative electrode active material layer, an insulating material is arranged between the negative electrode active material particles so as not to develop conductivity by a percolation path throughout the negative electrode active material layer. It is possible in this configuration to effectively prevent the occurrence of a short-circuit current due to an internal short circuit and the generation of heat due to such short-circuit current flow in the secondary battery while securing the battery performance of the secondary battery.

摘要: A negative electrode for a secondary battery according to the present invention has a collector and a negative electrode active material layer formed on a surface of the collector and containing negative electrode active material particles. 摘要: A voltage detection terminal (27a-27e, 27aa-27ee, 27aaa-27eee) and a discharge terminal (21a-21e) are connected to a peripheral edge portion of a collector (4a-4e) of a bipolar battery (2). Assuming a first straight line (Da1) that connects a centroid of the collector (4a-4e) and the voltage detection terminal (27a-27e) and a second straight line (Da2) that is orthogonal to the first straight line (Da1), the discharge terminal (21a-21e) is disposed on an opposite side of the second straight line (Da2)-the voltage detection terminal (27a-27e). A requirement relating to measurement of a voltage of the collector (4a-4e) and a requirement relating to discharge are thereby both satisfied.

摘要: A signal processing device including: a color coordinate adjuster performing color coordinate adjustment processing for adjusting color coordinates of an image input signal according to a color reproduction range of a display device; a brightness adjuster performing brightness adjustment processing for adjusting a brightness component of the image input signal; and a coefficient controller controlling a color coordinate adjustment coefficient and a brightness adjustment coefficient. The interactive calibration process is performed after the shape correction process.
