    摘要: The force calculation system of the present invention is provided with: an air blowing unit for blowing air at a predetermined pressure; a flow passage for air blown from air blowing unit; a sensing unit for changing the ease of flow of air that flows through a flow passage by deforming when an external force is given; a storage unit for storing in advance the flow volume-force correspondence information showing the correspondence between the magnitude of the force received by the sensing unit and the flow volume at which air blown from air blowing unit flows through the flow passage; and a processing unit for calculating the magnitude of external force received by the sensing unit, on the basis of: the flow volume of air flowing through the flow passage as measured by a flow volume meter; and the flow volume-force correspondence information stored in the storage unit.

The water electrolysis apparatus includes: a treatment vessel; an anion cylinder having a cylindrical negative ion permeable membrane provided in the treatment vessel; a cation cylinder having a cylindrical positive ion permeable membrane provided in the treatment vessel; an anode provided in the cylindrical negative ion permeable membrane in an axial direction of the cylinder; and a cathode provided in the cylindrical positive ion permeable membrane in an axial direction of the cylinder, water to be treated stored in the treatment vessel can flow in an axial direction of the cylinder of the anion cylinder and the cation cylinder in the treatment vessel, and ion concentrated water with concentrated ions is obtained in the anion cylinder and the cation cylinder, and pure water is obtained in the treatment vessel.

    摘要: A surface-emitting-type semiconductor laser device having a buried structure wherein a burying part having a current blocking function is formed around a buried part comprising an active region. A reflecting mirror consisting of a semiconductor multilayer film is installed on the buried part and the burying part, and the Bragg wavelength of this semiconductor multilayer film is set in matching with a longitudinal mode one mode higher than the longitudinal mode of oscillation in pulse operation. This semiconductor multilayer film has a configuration wherein two kinds of GaAlAs layers having different composition ratios of Al are laminated alternately, and the layer thickness of each GaAlAS layer constituting the semiconductor multilayer film is set so as to able to realize the Bragg wavelength calculated theoretically.

    摘要: Vapors normally arising within a standing gasoline tank are captured in a charcoal filled cannister. When the engine is running, air is drawn through the cannister thereby purging gasoline adsorbed on the charcoal within the cannister and delivering the purged gasoline vapors to the carburetor ultimately for combustion within the engine. Interference by the presence of such accumulated gasoline vapors in the carburetor, particularly during warm restarts and idling, can be avoided by preventing the injection of these gasoline vapors into the carburetor at the inappropriate times. Selective withholding of the purged gasoline vapors from a piston type carburetor, having a piston throttle valve disposed into and out of a venturi portion of the carburetor, is accomplished by injecting the gasoline vapors into the venturi portion through a purge port within the carburetor at a point such that the leading edge and outside surface of the piston type throttle valve closes and seals the port when the throttle valve is in a fully closed position. Thus, during idling and warm restarts, when the throttle valve is closed, no evaporated vapors are allowed to fill the venturi portion of the carburetor. Purging of the gasoline adsorbed on the charcoal within the cannister is accelerated by increasing the effective area of the purge port as the throttle valve is opened.
