Abstract:
The invention is a polyester resin mainly comprising a terephthalic acid component and a glycol component, wherein the fluorescence spectrum obtained by irradiating the polyester resin with excited light having a wavelength of 343 nm has a fluorescence intensity at 450 nm (B0) of 20 or lower. The resin makes it possible to efficiently produce a shaped article, especially a heat-resistant blow-molded article, that has excellent transparency and a moderate and stable crystallization rate and excellent heat-resistance dimensional stability, and is prevented from emitting fluorescence when irradiated with UV rays, and which is excellent in long-run continuous workability with no mold contamination, and which provides a wrapping material having excellent flavor retentiveness.
Abstract:
Upon reception of data updating information from a server apparatus (14) in a situation in which a presentation window is “closed” or “minimized” on a display unit (24) of each of terminal apparatuses (11-13), that presentation window is displayed on the display unit (24). The user who uses each of the terminal apparatuses (11-13) can always recognize a change in situation of the presentation system.
Abstract:
A fieldless array includes a semiconductor substrate, a plurality of oxide-nitride-oxide (ONO) structures formed over the upper surface of the semiconductor substrate, and a plurality of word lines formed over the ONO structures, wherein each of the ONO structures is substantially covered by one of the word lines. The word lines (typically polysilicon) block UV irradiation during subsequent processing steps, thereby substantially preventing electrons from being trapped in the silicon nitride layer of the ONO structure. As a result, the threshold voltages of the fieldless array transistors do not severely increase as the width of the fieldless array transistors decrease.
Abstract:
Speech/non-speech determining section 103 makes a speech/non-speech determination of whether a speech spectrum is of a speech interval with a speech included or of a non-speech interval with only a noise and no speech included. Noise spectrum estimating section 104 estimates a noise spectrum based on the speech spectrum determined as the non-speech interval. SNR estimating section 105 obtains speech signal power from the speech interval and noise signal power from the non-speech interval in the speech spectrum, and calculates SNR from a ratio of two values. Based on the speech/non-speech determination and a value of SNR, suppression coefficient control section 106 outputs a suppression lower limit coefficient to spectrum subtraction section 107. Spectral subtraction section 107 subtracts an estimated noise spectrum from the input speech spectrum, and outputs a speech spectrum with a noise suppressed.
Abstract:
A pressure sensor comprising a plurality of sensor parts arranged in matrix. A first electrode being connected with first wiring and a second electrode being connected with second wiring are disposed oppositely through a cavity part in the sensor part. The second electrode bends to the first electrode side in response to a pressure from a specimen and touches the first electrode upon application of a pressure of a specified level or above. When the specimen is pressed against a pressure detecting region, both electrodes touch each other at a sensor part corresponding to a protrusion of the specimen and are separated at a sensor part corresponding to a recess. When a scanning signal is fed from a scanning circuit to one wiring and presence of a signal flowing through the second wiring is detected by a sensing circuit, a pressure being applied to each sensor part can be detected. Furthermore, the shape is detected by feeding the scanning signal from the scanning circuit to each first wiring sequentially and scanning the pressure detecting region generally.

The invention presents an antenna element capable of attenuating electric far filed while suppressing attenuation of magnetic near field of electromagnetic field radiated from loop antenna as an application example of antenna element, and a loop antenna and a communication control apparatus of wireless communications medium using the same. The antenna element of the invention comprises a conductor, and a conductive electromagnetic shield disposed on its surface by way of an insulator. The conductive electromagnetic shield has a ground contact, a lead portion, and a plurality of branches, and it is composed so as to determine uniquely the route from an arbitrary point of branches to the ground contact by way of the lead portion.

Abstract:
An optical module for an optical device and an optical fiber is constituted by a pre-molded plastic package. In forming the plastic package, the main flowing direction of the molding resin is substantially parallel with the optical axis of the optical fiber. The optical module is formed by molding the resin by injection using pressure and then solidifying the resin. When the plastic package is formed by comprehensive molding, the flowing direction of the resin is parallel with the optical axis direction of the optical fiber to be installed in the optical module. As a result, for comprehensive molding, the molding pressure applied to the optical fiber is reduced. By using the resin case that is formed, the resulting package exhibits high rigidity and low thermal expansion properties in connection with the flowing direction of the resin, thus reducing the external stress and thermal stress applied to the optical fiber.
