摘要： A method for implementing a power saving function of the portable electronic apparatus is provided. The method includes the step of: receiving an electricity quantity value transmitted from the charge meter unit; determining which particular electric charge range the electricity quantity value falls in; searching the particular electric charge range in a power management table stored in a data storage; obtaining a new work mode which corresponds to the particular electric charge range when the current work mode does not correspond to the particular electric charge range; determining the work state changes of the components from the current work mode to the new work mode; signaling the power control unit to change the work states of the components which work state need changed when the apparatus is changed from the current work mode to the new work mode.

摘要： A keyboardless portable electronic apparatus is provided. Under a text input state, a display area of the apparatus includes a content display area, a function menu area, and a symbol selection area. The content display area is for displaying selection results of the navigational device. The function menu area is programmed with predetermined functions associating with text input. The symbol selection area is for displaying symbols thereon, the symbols are provided to be selected and generating a text to display on the content display area. The symbol selection area is further comprises a symbol selection menu and at least one symbol option lists. The symbol selection menu is visible all the time and the symbol option lists are visible only when a selection highlight of the apparatus is moved to the symbol selection menu.

The method includes: reading an identification (ID) of an emulator adapter; searching for the script name in a test table according to the ID; fetching the script from a storage according to the determined script name and running the fetched script to pass each of input commands; and receiving and identifying each of the input commands to simulate a key input via an electrical conductive path, correspondingly to the input command, of the emulator adapter, such that an input key corresponding to the key input of the to-be-tested electronic apparatus is activated and the to-be-tested electronic apparatus performs a function associated with the input key correspondingly. The first display area is for displaying data files. The second display area is for displaying output properties in a property select mode. The third display area is for displaying at least two adjustable attribute values of a selected output property in a property adjust mode. The MCU applies the selected adjustable attribute value to the selected output property, in response to adjustment operational inputs through the scroll bar.
