    摘要: A packet data service node is formed to establish an “always on” connection with a mobile terminal by way of a packet control function card or device with the ability to determine when a mobile terminal no longer requires a previously established point-to-point protocol communication link. Thus, to prevent unnecessary communications after a mobile terminal loses RF, the PDSN transmits a PPP inactivity timer remaining timer to the mobile terminal. The mobile terminal then generates communication s signals to the PDSN after regaining RF based upon an internal counter value initialized with the received PPP inactivity time remaining counter. In the described embodiment, the timer remaining timer value is equal to the inactivity timer summed with a total amount of time expected to be expended (in a worst case situation) soliciting responses from the mobile terminal with pings (e.g., LCP-Echo-Requests).

    摘要: Radar signal processing is performed using a plurality of signal processing units onboard a radar sensor unit. One of the signal processing units is designated as the primary processor whereas the remaining signal processing units are designated as secondary processors. Secondary processors, based on their configuration and capability, perform a subset of radar signal processing tasks. Secondary processors transmit a compressed bit stream of their partially processed results to the primary processor. The primary processor decompresses the bit streams received from a plurality of secondary processors, incorporates the partially processed results from a plurality of secondary processors with its locally processed results, performs final detections, and sends the final detections to a remote processor. When secondary processors perform detections in range, Doppler, and angle domains, and sends those to the primary processor, the primary processor employs consensus detection to produce final detections.

    摘要: Multi-channel compressed analog-to-digital (ADC) samples along with compressed calibration data received from the radar unit are de-compressed on the centralized signal processing unit prior to calibration compensation and DC-offset removal. Time-domain samples on each antenna channel are processed into range-domain samples and range-Doppler samples using windowing and FFT operations. For each range-domain sample, angle-domain samples are generated by performing windowing and angle-domain FFT operation over antenna channels. Joint object detection is performed separately on de-compressed ADC samples, range-domain samples, range-Doppler samples, or range-angle samples to provide detection metrics and confidence levels for each detected object.

This disclosure relates to a mobility edge gateway that resides on the edge of the core network and can provide one or more services such as call localization, offloading of traffic, session management, and content streaming. The call localization involves identifying calls that can be maintained at the edge of the network and bridging the calls at the mobility edge gateway to bypass the core network. The offloading involves identifying traffic and offloading the traffic to the Internet or another network to bypass the core network. These services can relieve congestion on the core network of mobile operator's networks.

A cipher key and an integrity key are generated at a home AAA server and are also generated independently at the Mobile Node. The two keys generated at the home AAA server are transmitted to the Home Agent to secure information packets transmitted between the Mobile Node and the Home Agent. The cipher key and integrity key are used to establish a security association used for information packet transmissions.     摘要: The invention consists of an authentication protocol for the Home Agent to authenticate and authorize the Mobile Node's Binding Update message. Two new mobility options compatible with RADIUS AAA are used to exchange a shared secret between the Home Agent and the Mobile Node so the Mobile Node can be authenticated.A Mobile Node-AAA authenticator option is added to the Binding Update message.
