Abstract: A method of transmitting, by a user equipment, control information in a communication system. The method according to one embodiment includes multiplying transmission information corresponding to the control information by a frequency direction sequence, of which length corresponds to a number of subcarriers in a resource block, to generate a first output signal; multiplying the first output signal by a time direction sequence, of which length corresponds to a number of symbols used for transmission of the control information in a transmission unit, to generate a second output signal; and transmitting the second output signal in the transmission unit.

Abstract: The present invention relates to a wireless communication system. More particularly, the present invention relates to a method for transmitting acknowledgement/negative ACK (ACK/NACK) in a wireless communication system which supports carrier aggregation, and to an apparatus for the method. A method in which a terminal transmits ACK/NACK in a wireless communication system that supports carrier aggregation comprises the following steps: receiving one or more physical downlink shared channels (PDSCHs); and transmitting ACK/NACK for said one or more PDSCHs via a physical uplink control channel (PUCCH). A PUCCH format for transmitting ACK/NACK is selected by taking the type of the carrier in which said one or more PDSCHs are received into account.

Abstract: A symbol mapping method for repetition coding is disclosed. The symbol mapping method comprises performing repetition coding on codeword to output repeated codeword symbols, and mapping the repeated codeword symbols with subcarriers located in different localized resource blocks. According to the embodiments of the present invention, it is possible to obtain maximum reliability in a receiving side by mapping codeword bits with subcarriers to reduce the number of bits having low reliability when a transmitting side uses repetition coding. Also, it is possible to improve decoding throughput and obtain channel diversity.
