Abstract:
A method, and a user equipment (UE), for transmitting control information. The method according to one embodiment includes receiving a sounding reference signal (SRS) simultaneous transmission parameter; and if the SRS simultaneous transmission parameter is true, transmitting an SRS, and, in cell specific SRS subframes of a primary component carrier, a physical uplink control channel (PUCCH) which coincides in a same subframe as the SRS. The PUCCH using a shortened format carries at least one of a HARQ-ACK and a positive scheduling request (SR). The method according to the embodiment further includes, if the SRS simultaneous transmission parameter is false, transmitting the PUCCH which uses a normal PUCCH format and carries at least one of the HARQ-ACK and the positive SR, while not transmitting, in a secondary component carrier, the SRS which coincides in the same subframe. The transmitting of the PUCCH uses carrier aggregation.
Abstract:
A method and communication apparatus for controlling transmission powers in a wireless communication system supporting a plurality of component carriers are described. When a sounding reference symbol (SRS) transmission overlaps with a physical uplink shared channel (PUSCH) transmission and a physical uplink control channel (PUCCH) transmission in a time domain, a check is made as to whether a total of a PUSCH transmission power for the PUSCH transmission on a first component carrier, a PUCCH transmission power for the PUCCH transmission on the first component carrier and a SRS transmission power for the SRS transmission on a second component carrier exceeds a maximum transmission power configured for the communication apparatus. The SRS is dropped if the total of the PUSCH transmission power, the PUCCH transmission power and the SRS transmission power exceeds the maximum transmission power configured for the communication apparatus.
Abstract:
A method of transmitting a reference signal in a wireless communication system; and a user equipment therefore are described. The method according to one embodiment includes selecting one or more values among a set {0, 3, 6, 8, 10}; cyclically shifting a base sequence based on the one or more values selected from the set {0, 3, 6, 8, 10}; and transmitting the reference signal based on the cyclically shifted base sequence to a base station. The reference signal is transmitted on a first orthogonal frequency division multiplexing (OFDM) symbol and a second OFDM symbol. The first OFDM symbol is a second OFDM symbol among 7 OFDM symbols in one slot. The second OFDM symbol is a sixth OFDM symbol among the 7 OFDM symbols in the slot.
Abstract:
A method for a base station (BS) to perform a hybrid automatic repeat request (HARQ). The BS transmits an uplink (UL) grant for a first subframe of a second serving cell through a first serving cell. The BS receives UL data based on the UL grant in the first subframe, transmits an acknowledgement/non-acknowledgement (ACK/NACK) for the UL data through a physical HARQ indicator channel (PHICH) in subframe i of the first serving cell and receives non-adaptively retransmitted UL data in a second subframe of the second serving cell if a NACK for the UL data has been transmitted through the PHICH in the subframe i of the first serving cell. The first serving cell and the second serving cell use different UL-DL configurations.
Abstract:
A method and apparatus for receiving signals at a base station (BS) in a wireless communication system supporting a plurality of cells including a first cell and a second cell. The method includes receiving first uplink control information via a first physical uplink control channel (PUCCH) from a first user equipment (UE); and receiving second uplink control information via a second PUCCH from a second UE. The first PUCCH is carried only on the first cell. The second PUCCH is carried only on the second cell. The first cell is different from the second cell.
Abstract:
A method for controlling transmission power by a communication apparatus in a wireless communication system supporting a plurality of component carriers. A total transmission power of a physical uplink shared channel (PUSCH) is calculated for a PUSCH transmission on a first component carrier and a sounding reference symbol (SRS) for a SRS transmission on a second component carrier. The PUSCH transmission is prioritized rather than the SRS transmission if the PUSCH transmission overlaps with the SRS transmission in a time domain and the total transmission power exceeds a maximum transmission power configured for the communication apparatus.
Abstract:
An uplink transmission method in a wireless communication system, and a user equipment (UE) therefore, are discussed. The method includes, for example, generating uplink control information (UCI) which includes at least one of a hybrid automatic repeat request (HARQ) acknowledgement (ACK)/negative-acknowledgement (NACK) signal, a channel quality indicator (CQI) and a scheduling request (SR); generating a reference signal (RS) based on one or more indices selected from among a set {0, 3, 6, 8, 10}; transmitting the UCI on a physical uplink control channel (PUCCH); and transmitting the generated RS for the PUCCH based on the selected one or more indices.
Abstract:
A method for transmitting acknowledgement/negative-acknowledgement (ACK/NACK) information of a user equipment (UE) configured with two serving cells including a first serving cell and a second serving cell, the method including receiving two transport blocks (TBs) through a downlink subframe of the first serving cell, receiving one TB through a downlink subframe of the second serving cell and transmitting ACK/NACK information informing ACK/NACKs for the two TBs and the one TB through an uplink subframe of the first serving cell, wherein the ACK/NACK information informs the ACK/NACKs for the two TBs and the one TB by a combination of one resource selected from a plurality of candidate resources and two bits transmitted through the one resource.
Abstract:
A method for determining link direction of resources in a wireless communication system, the method performed by a user equipment (UE) includes receiving frame configuration information from a base station, wherein the frame configuration information indicates at least one of default resources and flexible resources in a frame, receiving downlink control information (DCI) format from the base station, and determining link direction of the flexible resources in the frame based on the frame configuration information and the DCI format.
Abstract:
A method for transmitting channel status information of a user equipment (UE) in a wireless communication system. The UE reports first channel information to a base station periodically; and reports second channel information to the base station periodically. The first channel information and the second channel information are pieces of information combined to indicate one precoding matrix. The second channel information reported in a specific subframe is calculated based on last reported first channel information. A channel quality indicator (CQI) reported in the specific subframe is calculated based on one precoding matrix indicated by the last reported first channel information and the second channel information reported in the specific subframe.
