    Abstract: Provided are a method and apparatus for transmitting acknowledgement/not-acknowledgement (ACK/NACK) of a user equipment in a carrier aggregation system. The method includes: assigning first and second control regions as search spaces for a specific cell; detecting scheduling information with respect to the specific cell from the first control region and/or second control region; receiving a data channel from the specific cell on the basis of the scheduling information; and transmitting ACK/NACK indicating a reception acknowledgement for the data channel, wherein if the scheduling information is detected from the first control region, the ACK/NACK is transmitted using a radio resource linked to another radio resource used to receive the scheduling information, and wherein if the scheduling information is detected from the second control region, the ACK/NACK is transmitted using a pre-set radio resource through a higher layer signal.

    Abstract: Provided is a method of transmitting ACK/NACK in a TDD-based wireless communication system. The method includes: receiving M downlink subframes associated with an uplink subframe n in each of two serving cells; determining four candidate resources based on the M downlink subframes received in each of the two serving cells; and transmitting an ACK/NACK response for the M downlink subframes by using one resource selected from the four candidate resources in the uplink subframe n, wherein the two serving cells includes a first serving cell and a second serving cell, and wherein among the four candidate resources, a first resource and a second resource are associated with a PDSCH or a SPS release PDCCH for releasing semi-persistent scheduling received in the first serving cell, and a third resource and a fourth resources are associated with a PDSCH received in the second serving cell.

    Abstract: A method is provided for a User Equipment (UE) operating in a wireless communication system. The method includes monitoring a control channel candidate with a downlink control information (DCI) format size in a plurality of search spaces. Each of the plurality of search spaces corresponds to a respective carrier indicator field (CIF) value. The method further includes transmitting or receiving data using downlink control information which is detected by monitoring the control channel candidate. In a state that control channel candidates have different values of carrier indicator field for the DCI format size, the control channel candidate with the DCI format size is received in any search space corresponding to any of the different values of carrier indicator field for the DCI format size.

    Abstract: A method and low-cost/low-capability (LC) device are provided for performing a random access procedure in a wireless communication system. The LC device receives configuration information for a random access procedure from a base station. The configuration information includes resource information for transmitting a random access preamble, and the resource information is specific to the LC device. The LC device transmits, to a base station, a random access preamble on a random access resource determined based on the resource information. The LC device receives a random access response in response to the random access preamble. The random access resource is configured for each region of a coverage of the base station.

    Abstract: A method and apparatus are provided for configuring subframes in a wireless communication system. A user equipment (UE) receives an uplink-downlink configuration from a base station. The uplink-downlink configuration indicates each of a plurality of subframes in a frame to any one of a downlink subframe, a special subframe and an uplink subframe. The special subframe includes a downlink pilot time slot (DwPTS), a guard period (GP) and an uplink pilot time slot (UpPTS). The UE receives frame configuration information from the base station and configures each of the plurality of subframes in the frame to any one of a downlink subframe, a special subframe and an uplink subframe based on the uplink-downlink configuration and the frame configuration information.     Abstract: A method, a user equipment, and a base station for maintaining uplink synchronization in a wireless communication system supporting carrier aggregation are discussed. The method of maintaining uplink synchronization at a user equipment according to an embodiment includes receiving a physical downlink control channel (PDCCH) order. The PDCCH order indicates an initiation of a random access procedure and includes a carrier indicator field and a predefined set of values of a 1-bit flag indicating a localized/distributed resource block assignment, and a resource block assignment field. The method further includes transmitting a random access preamble through an uplink component carrier corresponding to a value of the carrier indicator field among a plurality of uplink component carriers.
