摘要: An integrated circuit (IC) device, such as a system on chip, includes a plurality of hardware circuitry components and a power delivery network to delivery power to the plurality of hardware circuitry elements. The power delivery network has a plurality of integrated switches and a corresponding data plane to couple the plurality of switches to a controller on the IC device. The controller sends signals on the control plane of the power delivery network to granularly select which of the plurality of hardware circuitry elements to power-gate and may do so at the direction of a software system.

摘要: System and techniques for infrastructure managed workload distribution are described herein. An infrastructure processing unit (IPU) receives a workload that includes a workload definition. The workload definition includes stages of the workload and a performance expectation. The IPU provides the workload, for execution, to a processing unit of a compute node to which the IPU belongs. The IPU monitors execution of the workload to determine that a stage of the workload is performing outside of the performance expectation from the workload definition. In response, the IPU modifies the execution of the workload.

An edge device may include processing circuitry to execute instructions including operations to determine a set of capabilities and constraints of each of a plurality of remote edge devices. The operations may include determining candidate remote edge devices from the plurality of remote edge devices based on function requirements for a function and the set of capabilities and constraints. The operations may include selecting, from the candidate remote edge devices, a remote edge device to execute the function based on a power efficiency for the system determined using the set of capabilities and constraints.

The kernel may be in an inactive state unless performing an operation. One kernel of a first device may monitor data for an event. Once an event has occurred, the kernel sends an indication to a first inter-kernel communication circuitry. The inter-kernel communication circuitry determines an activation function of a plurality of activation functions is to be generated, generates the activation function, and transmits the activation function to a second kernel of a second device to waken and perform a function using a peer-to-peer connection.

摘要: Examples relate to a memory controller or memory controller device for a memory pool of a computer system, to a management apparatus or management device for the computer system, and to an apparatus or device for a compute node of the computer system, and to corresponding methods and computer programs. The memory pool comprises computer memory that is accessible to a plurality of compute nodes of the computer system via the memory controller. The memory controller comprises interface circuitry for communicating with the plurality of compute nodes. The memory controller comprises control circuitry being configured to obtain an access control instruction via the interface circuitry. The access control instruction indicates that access to a portion of the computer memory of the memory pool is to be granted to one or more processes being executed by the plurality of compute nodes of the computer system. The access control instruction comprises information related to a node identifier and a process identifier for each of the one or more processes. The control circuitry is configured to provide access to the portion of the computer memory of the memory pool to the one or more processes based on the access control instruction.

摘要: An architecture to enable verification, ranking, and identification of respective edge service properties and associated service level agreement (SLA) properties, such as in an edge cloud or other edge computing environment, is disclosed. In an example, management and use of service information for an edge service includes: providing SLA information for an edge service to an operational device, for accessing an edge service hosted in an edge computing environment, with the SLA information providing reputation information for computing functions of the edge service according to an identified SLA; receiving a service request for use of the computing functions of the edge service, under the identified SLA; requesting, from the edge service, performance of the computing functions of the edge service according to the service request; and tracking the performance of the computing functions of the edge service according to the service request and compliance with the identified SLA.

A node can include a network interface controller (NIC) comprising system address decoder (SAD) circuitry configured to determine a node identification of a node to which a memory request from a processor is homed, and prefetcher circuitry communicatively coupled to the SAD circuitry, the prefetcher circuitry to determine, based on an address in the memory request, one or more addresses from which to prefetch data, the one or more addresses corresponding to respective entries in a memory of a node on a different network than the NIC.

摘要: Technologies for object-based data consistency in a fabric architecture includes a network switch communicatively coupled to a plurality of computing nodes. The network switch is configured to receive an object read request that includes an object identifier and a data consistency threshold from one of the computing nodes. The network switch is additionally configured to perform a lookup for a value of an object in the cache memory as a function of the object identifier and determine whether a condition of the value of the object violates the data consistency threshold in response to a determination that the lookup successfully returned the value of the object. The network switch is further configured to transmit the value of the object to the computing node in response to a determination that the condition of the value of the object does not violate the data consistency threshold. Other embodiments are described herein.
