摘要： A tape reel for a tape cassette wherein a pair of such reels are contained, comprising an upper flange and a hub which consists of a drum formed integrally with (formed in one piece with, or solidly joined to) a lower flange. The drum comprises an outer cylindrical part on which a tape is wound and an inner cylindrical part which permits the insertion of a driving shaft of a recording-reproducing device for the tape cassette. The inner cylindrical part has projections adapted to engage with the driving shaft, each said projection having a groove formed on the back side for thickness reduction, and the inner cylindrical part and inner ends and both side walls of the projections all have the same thickness. A plurality of connecting ribs are provided joining the outer and inner cylindrical parts of the drum, and extensions are formed outwardly on the inner cylindrical part, on both shoulder portions close to each said connecting rib. Alternatively, a plurality of ribs are formed along the inner circumference of the outer cylindrical part, extending from the outer cylindrical part toward, but short of, the inner cylindrical part.

摘要： A telephone apparatus is disclosed which includes a communication circuit (10) including a microphone (15) and a speaker (14) for providing communication between an operator and a network and outputting sound data from the sound receiving unit and the network; a memory card receiving unit (13); a memory card detector (13a); a memory (4) for storing the sound data; a control circuit (2) responsive to the memory card detector and a recording command for storing the sound data in the memory and reading the sound data from the memory only when the memory card is received by the memory card receiving unit. The memory card stores an ID code and the control circuit registers the identification code on recording. When playing is commanded the control circuit inhibits Playing when the ID from the memory card disagrees with any of registered ID codes. When there is no space in the memory, the control circuit writes the sound data over the sound data only when the ID code from the memory card agrees with one of the registered ID codes. The telephone apparatus further includes a serial interface (23) for storing the sound data in the memory in the memory card.

摘要： A container for containing printing liquid for supplying to an ink jet head for an ink jet recording apparatus. The container includes a first chamber containing negative pressure producing material and having an air vent communicating with ambient air and a supply port for supplying printing liquid to the ink jet head. The container also includes a second chamber communicating with the first chamber via a communication port and providing a printing liquid reservoir for the first chamber. The capillary force provided by the negative pressure producing material adjacent a wall extending from the communication port and decreasing in a direction perpendicular to and towards the wall at least adjacent a part of the communication port which is uppermost in use of the container.

摘要： The present invention introduce a bar code reader capable of inferring data coded into one character failing in demodulation when one character can not be demodulated. The CPU demodulates the data obtained by reading bar code for each data character. Concerning the data character failing in demodulation, bar width data for four bars before demodulation is stored in the temporary saving buffer. When 11 data characters are successful in demodulation, the CPU calculates back the modulus 10 check based on the demodulated data corresponding to 11 data characters, and infers a value of the demodulated data corresponding to the data character failing in demodulation. The CPU, when the data character failing in demodulation is contained in the left data block, infers an ODD/EVEN configuration of the demodulated data corresponding to the data character failing in demodulation based on five pieces of demodulated data corresponding to data characters successful in demodulation in the left data block.
