摘要: A frame input unit receives an input of a frame having a placement area for an element to which a predetermined signal is supplied. A netlist input unit receives an input of a netlist concerning the element. A placing unit places the element in the placement area of the frame input by the frame input unit based on the netlist input by the netlist input unit. A detecting unit detects whether there is a vacant position in the placement area in which the element is placed by the placing unit, and a bypass-element placing unit places a bypass element at the vacant position detected by the detecting unit, the bypass element propagating the predetermined signal by bypassing the element located adjacent to the vacant position.

摘要: One embodiment relates to an apparatus for image processing. The apparatus includes a candidate edge chain identifier for identifying candidate edge chains in an image being processed, means for calculating a dynamic chain-based threshold function that is dependent on at least one characteristic of the image being processed, and a threshold applicator for applying the dynamic chain-based threshold function to the candidate edge chains. The characteristic of the image being processed may be global in that it is determined from the overall image being processed. A system may include an encoder or a decoder, both of which include the above apparatus. Another embodiment relates to a method for image processing. The method determines a dynamic chain-based threshold function that is dependent on at least one characteristic of the image being processed and applies the dynamic threshold to a candidate edge chain.

摘要: Disclosed is an optical information recording medium having a printable region on a label surface which is extended to a clamping area, and label information such as a name of a manufacturer is printed in the clamping area. The optical information recording medium includes a substrate having label information pits serving as non-recording and non-reproducing pits that are formed in the clamping area and a reflective layer laminated on the label information pits, and a dummy substrate to be attached to the substrate through an adhesive layer formed on the reflective layer. The multiple label information pits are formed substantially in an entire region of the clamping area to display the label information which emerges by linking portions where the label information pits are not formed.

摘要: A rotation-side member is held at a specified angle. Radial downsizing of the hinge device is possible due to its simple structure. Rotational operability is improved, and adjustment of torque is easy. This device comprises a friction-force generating mechanism 12 that has a shaft 13—which rotatably supports a rotation-side member 3 against a stationary-side member 2 in both the forward and reverse directions—and holds the angle of the rotated rotation-side member 3 by friction force, and a torsion bar 14 (1) that penetrates through the shaft 13 in the axial direction, (2) whose two ends are directly or indirectly fixed, respectively, to a stationary-side member 2 and a rotation-side member 3, and (3) that is twisted by rotation of the rotation-side member 3 in the forward or reverse direction, so as to store torque for energizing the rotation-side member 3 in the direction opposite to the rotation.

摘要: Digital image acquisition device such as CCD/CMOS sensors often introduces random temporal noise into digital video sequences. Temporal noise generally carries high frequency components in both the spatial and temporal domains and is also random in nature. Because of these properties, they are generally very expensive to encode and would substantially degrade coding efficiency. It is therefore important to eliminate or suppress such temporal noise in video inputs prior to encoding. The present invention provides a methodology to achieve such a goal in a highly cost-effective manner where coding performance, latency, computational cost, and memory requirements are optimized. This methodology can be efficiently implemented as part of digital video compression algorithm and scales nicely for various bitrates.

摘要: A cell type page which displays a fixed number of images at fixed positions with fixed size on a screen and a free type page which displays equal to or more than one image at arbitrary positions with arbitrary size on the screen are provided. In response to an image insertion order in the cell type page, images belong to the cell type pages behind that cell type page are sent astern without influencing positions of images belong to the free type pages behind that cell type image and blank pages are added if there is no blank cells. In response to an image deletion order from the cell type page, images behind an image to be deleted belong to the cell type pages behind that cell type page are closed ahead without influencing positions of images belong to the free type page behind that cell type page and the blank pages are deleted if the blank pages are appeared.

摘要: A polyvinylacetal resin powder with a low metal content, being excellent in transparency, moisture resistance and electrical insulating properties and having a large specific surface area, and a process for its production, are presented. A polyvinylacetal resin powder obtained by reacting polyvinyl alcohol and an aldehyde in the presence of an acid catalyst, which has an acetalization degree of at least 60 mol %, a specific surface area of from 1.50 to 3.50 m2/g, a bulk density of from 0.12 to 0.19 g/cm3, an average particle diameter of from 0.5 to 2, 5 μm and a metal content of at most 80 ppm. It is produced, for example, by feeding a reaction fluid containing polyvinyl alcohol, an aldehyde and an acid catalyst into a first reactor, to carry out an acetalization reaction, discharging the reaction fluid wherein the acetalization degree has reached from 10 to 60 mol %, and feeding the same into a second reactor to carry out a further reaction to bring the acetalization degree of polyvinylacetal to at least 65 mol %.
