摘要： A wire electrode type electric discharge machining device including a wire electrode confronting a workpiece with a small space therebetween, wherein electric discharge is caused to take place in the small space to machine the workpiece; an upper wire guide for slidably supporting the wire electrode above the workpiece; a lower wire guide for slidably supporting the wire electrode below the workpiece; a driver for supporting and moving the workpiece relative to the wire electrode in the horizontal direction; a lower arm for holding the lower wire guide at a position confronting the upper wire guide means. The electric discharge machining device further includes a protecting cover for covering the lower arm with a space therebetween, a splash preventing device which is movable with expansion and contraction with the movement of the workpiece for preventing machining solution jetted towards the small space between the workpiece and the wire electrode from splashing, and a holding device for fixedly holding the splash preventing device.

摘要： Highly heat-resisting ceramic fibers are manufactured either by simply coating the surface of ceramic fibers with at least one phosphorus compound or by further subjecting the resultant coated ceramic fibers to a heat treatment. The ceramic fibers having the surface coated with said phosphorus compound or the ceramic fibers having the phosphorus compound contained therein at a gradually decreasing concentration in the direction of increasing depth from the surface which are manufactured by the aforesaid method are capable of high resistance to heat.

摘要： The present invention affords a process for forming a pattern having a surface area substantially equal to or smaller than area of apertures of shadow-mask through which beams pass on a photoresist film, which contains an acrylamidediacetoneacrylamide copolymer and a water-soluble aromatic bisazide compound, by exposing said photoresist film to light through a mask having the pattern and then developing the film.The use of said photoresist film for the preparation of a phosphor screen of a color picture tube of a black matrix or black stripe type does not require a special technique such as post-etching of a shadow mask and makes it possible to form a three primary color phosphor pattern having a surface area substantially equal to or smaller than the area of apertures of the shadow mask through which lightbeams pass, without mutual "bridging" between phosphor dots. Thus, an excellent phosphor screen of a color picture tube of a black matrix or black stripe type can be prepared.

摘要： Provided is an air mattress configured so that the pressure within each of bladder-shaped cells is variable, wherein the sleeping comfort of a person lying on the air mattress is not reduced.The air mattress has a plurality of air cell groups, each of which constituted by a plurality of bladder-shaped cells and lined up with respect to the lengthwise direction of the air mattress; an air supply/release pump; an air tube linking the bladder-shaped cells and the air supply/release pump in an independent first system for each of the air cell groups and an independent second system for each of specific bladder-shaped cells out of the plurality of air cell groups; and a pressure sensor for measuring the pressure within the bladder-shaped cells for each of the first and second systems. One or a plurality of specific air cell groups is constituted by an upper section, a middle section, and a lower section of bladder-shaped cells lined up in the lengthwise direction of the air mattress; the pressure in the lower section bladder-shaped cells is controlled by the first system and the pressure in the middle section bladder-shaped cells is controlled by the second system; and the upper section bladder-shaped cells communicate with the middle section bladder-shaped cells.

摘要： Provided is a regenerative switched reluctance motor driving system which allows a motor to have a reduced size and weight and an increased efficiency as well as improved energy recovery efficiency at the time of regenerative braking without using a neodymium magnet. Based on an angular position of a rotor in the motor, a constant current flip-flop circuit 2 renders two current paths alternately conductive so as to allow a rectangular-wave current having a width of an electrical angle of 180° to alternately flow in two coils in the motor 3, and shifts the timing of rendering the two current paths alternately conductive, between when driving and when braking the motor 3, by a time during which the rotor is rotated by an angle corresponding to an electrical angle of 180°. When driving the motor, a DC constant current power supply unit 1 discharges a DC power supply, while when braking the motor, it receives an input current through a negative terminal of the DC power supply, and outputs a DC current to the constant current flip-flop circuit 2, and further outputs a DC current regenerated from the motor 3 through the constant current flip-flop circuit 2 to a positive terminal of, and thereby charges, the DC power supply.

The incoming call notification element stops notifying the incoming call and the individual information when the hard disk drive is in the off-mode.
