摘要： A display device capable of correcting display of deteriorated pixels without causing a nonconstant tonality or improper color balance is provided. The display device includes a display section with plural pixels; signal lines; a data generation circuit; a D/A converter for sequentially converting a tone data to an analog voltage and outputting the analog voltage to the signal lines; a switch circuit for outputting a signal corresponding to the pixel state by switching the signal lines; an A/D converter for sequentially detecting the signal; and a detection circuit for estimating the state of the pixel from the signal. The D/A converter includes an output range setting means for setting an allowed output range of the analog voltage. The display device includes an output correction circuit that controls the output range setting means in accordance with the state of the pixel detected by the detection circuit.

The display device includes a display part on which a plurality of pixels are arranged in a matrix array, a plurality of photo detection circuits which are arranged in a matrix array in the inside of the display part, wherein each photo detection circuit of the plurality of photo detection circuits includes: a photo sensor which converts an incident light into a optical current corresponding to intensity of the incident light, an integral capacitance which integrates the optical current converted by the photo sensor, and a comparator to which a voltage of the integral capacitance is inputted, and the comparator includes a transistor of an open drain output type with a grounded source.

A current comparator circuit (47) in a data line drive circuit having a current compensating function (2) detects only the result of size comparison between the current amount due to the degeneration of a self-emission element and a reference value. The reduction of the current amount below the reference value is stored by being added to the least significant bits of a display data storage circuit (30). In accordance with the display data read from the storage circuit (30), a D/A conversion circuit (41) generates a write signal voltage.

摘要： An image display device includes: a first power supply line; a second power supply line; a plurality of pixel circuit; a driving circuit for supplying a data signal and a scanning signal; and a switch unit. Each pixel circuit includes: a driving transistor between the first power supply line and the second power supply line; a light emitting element controlled by the driving transistor; and a storage capacitor for storing the data signal and controlling the driving transistor. The driving circuit causes the storage capacitor to store the data signal and controls an intensity of light emission based on the data signal. The switch unit is provided at one of one end of the first power supply line and one end of the second power supply line to control whether or not to allow a current to flow from the first power supply line to the second power supply line.
