    Abstract: A method may include receiving, from a network node, association and configuration information for a plurality of sequences, where each sequence may be associated to at least one network-node beam or beam-pair link. The method may also include performing beam measurements of beams from the network node to obtain beam measurement information. The method may further include detecting beam misalignment of the beam based on the beam measurement information. In addition, the method may include transmitting a sequence among the plurality of sequences to the network node to inform the network node of the beam misalignment, and to trigger the network node to start a beam adjustment procedure and a monitoring procedure for a configured-grant configuration. Further, the method may include, after transmitting the sequence, considering the indicated preferred beam as a new serving beam, and switching to the configured-grant configuration associated with this new serving beam.

    Abstract: A network node, such as an eNB, allocates a PRB allocation for transmission of at least one user-specific RS. The at least one user-specific RS is configured to be transmitted in a pattern. The at least one user-specific RS is transmitted to a UE. The pattern of the at least one user-specific RS includes at least one over-the-edge RS transmitted outside of the PRB allocation. A UE receives at least one user-specific RS in a pattern, and performs channel estimation based on the at least one user-specific RS. At least part of the at least one user-specific RS is in a PRB allocation of the UE and the pattern of the at least one user-specific RS includes at least one over-the-edge RS received outside of the PRB allocation of said UE.

    Abstract: There are provided measures for improved beam indication. Such measures exemplarily comprise storing at least one beam determination entry, wherein each of said at least one beam determination entry is indicative of a respective first beam and at least one respective second beam narrower than said first beam and at least partially in quasi co-location with said first beam, receiving indicator information indicative of one of said at least one beam determination entry, and selecting, for a predetermined physical channel, a transmission beam out of said first beam and said at least one second beam of said indicated one of said at least one beam determination entry based on receiving power measurement results in relation to said first beam and said at least one second beam of said indicated one of said at least one beam determination entry.

    Abstract: Systems, methods, apparatuses, and computer program products for non-linear precoding in radio access networks are provided. One method may include, when it is determined that a user equipment is capable of being non-linearly precoded, determining one of two non-linear precoding modes and indicating the determined non-linear precoding mode to the user equipment. One of the two non-linear precoding modes is configured to use explicit beamformed channel state information, and the other one of the two non-linear precoding modes is configured to use explicit full downlink channel state information.
