Abstract: A method is disclosed, e.g. performed by a user equipment, the method comprising: establishing a connection to a first master node, receiving a first reconfiguration message including configuration information for a secondary node addition including a first key, performing a random access to the secondary node, transmitting and/or receiving data towards/from the secondary node on one or more secondary cell group bearers using the first key, receiving a second reconfiguration message relating to an inter-master node handover from the first master node to a second master node, the reconfiguration message comprising configuration information relating to a dual active protocol stack (DAPS) for one or more secondary cell group bearers associated with the secondary node and a second key; establishing the dual active protocol stack for the one or more secondary cell group bearers of the secondary node based on the configuration information; transmitting and/or receiving data towards/from the secondary node on the one or more secondary cell group bearers using the first key hosted by the dual active protocol stack for the one or more secondary cell group bearers; performing a random access to the second master node; transmitting a reconfiguration complete message to the second master node; and transmitting and/or receiving data towards/from the secondary node for the one or more secondary cell group bearers using the second key hosted by the dual active protocol stack for the one or more secondary cell group bearers. Related methods that may be performed by network nodes are disclosed. Further, a corresponding system and corresponding apparatuses, computer programs, and computer-readable storage media are disclosed.

Abstract: There are provided measures for enabling/realizing an early evaluation for conditional reconfiguration in a mobile/wireless communication system. Such measures exemplarily include that a communication entity obtains an evaluation measurement configuration and an evaluation candidate cell set, performs an evaluation measurement in accordance with the evaluation measurement configuration on the evaluation candidate cell set, and performs or starts evaluating an execution condition for conditional reconfiguration for the evaluation candidate cell set on the basis of a result of the evaluation measurement, in the absence of and/or prior to availability of an actual configuration for conditional reconfiguration.

Abstract: The present invention relates to survival time aware mobility and presents handover procedures when considering survival time (ST) requirements. It proposes a mechanism and embodiments to allow a target cell to have the information relating to a joining UE's Survival Time requirements as well as the ST status during the handover procedure. In particular, the invention is aimed at being introduced into the mobility procedures: Baseline Handover (BHO), Conditional HO (CHO), and Dual Active Protocol Stack (DAPS) HO. In addition to the aggregated RAN architecture, the mobility procedures can be applicable to disaggregated RAN architecture, e.g., CU-DU split.

Abstract: Where a UE moves between primary and/or secondary cells, the repeated reconfiguration of a UE at the network requires repeated signalling. Where non terrestrial networks nodes provide cells it may be possible to predict which cells a UE is likely to visit and when, based on the satellite movement. Embodiments make use of this ability to predict multiple future cells by transferring configuration information for a series of target cells in a single message, in some cases along with condition information indicating when the cell is likely to be providing radio coverage for that UE. Furthermore, to reduce signalling overhead some of the information is provided as a delta information, that is as an indication of how a previous configuration will change to provide the new configuration. A UE can apply the configuration information as the conditions become fulfilled.

Abstract: Embodiments of the present disclosure propose a solution for availability of system broadcasted information such as GNSS information which can be used for deriving time and/or frequency domain compensation. According to embodiments of this present disclosure, a validity timer for system broadcasted information is introduced in both UE and network to guarantee the system broadcasted information availability status is synchronized in two nodes, and the system broadcasted information is valid to pre-compensate in time and/or frequency domain when the timer is running. In this way, the UE can be scheduled with correct timing and frequency estimation in UL transmission.
